Another enjoyable visit to Bean Head Café today. The staff are extra friendly and make you feel really welcome. The food is either home made or locally made. It doesn't arrive on a frozen food truck from some commercial kitchen hundreds of miles away. Our coffees were once again beautifully made and the bottle of chilled water delivered to our table was appreciated. It was a very hot day but there was a lovely pleasant breeze blowing across the outdoor tables. We will definitely visit again. A hidden gem in Coolum Beach.

Great cuisine which deserves a better venue. Coffin Bay Oysters, freshly shucked, cab sav vineger, fresh lime, delicious. Artichoke soup, scallops, truffle. Yummy. Wagyu brisket, red curry, chilli jam, green tomato, coconut, herbs. To die for. My fav dessert was the Banana tart with rum caramel, bundy and raising ice cream. Basically a banana tatin. The kids loved the Passionfruit Roulade withTurkish delight ice cream and Persian fairy floss. A bit expensive for the type of venue but worth it. They should heat up the plates for the main courses. We were sitting outside and the food cooled down quickly.

Your friendly local club serving great value food and drinks 7 days a week and live entertainment every Friday & Saturday night. The Coolum Bowlo is the place to be!
We went on a Saturday night to listen to a live band from the '70s. The venue was packed! The dance floor area always had people if a wide range of ages enjoying themselves. The stage is not huge but accommodated the band well, with good lighting and sound. Bar staff were really nice and suggested a low-alcohol beer, and offered glasses. Remember to bring ID (drive licence, etc) as proof of age. No entry fee, so we'll be returning. Many people were eating dinner, either in the bar/band area's tables/chairs, and in the dining area.

Canteen Kitchen & Bar at beautiful Coolum Beach is the quintessential beachside eatery that offers something for everyone with an ambience guaranteed to relax visitors & locals alike. The gentle sea breezes, views north to Noosa and great surf break just
The Canteen was our go to for breakfasts on this trip. Why? Great menu with excellent cooked and fresh fruit based options. And it has a great view of Coolum beach, in the morning sun. But the coffee is at best average, certainly not up to NZ standard. And we did not dine in the evening as the beer options are extremely traditional. Today is the era of craft beers and in 2019 there are good ones brewed nearby - try them, I have and they are great and would get us here!Thank you for your review Kenz. I am glad you enjoyed our breakfasts and the wonderful view at Canteen. I apologise that our coffee is not to your liking. We do have qualified baristas on our machine. Our head barista has been with us for over 2 years, she is full time and works 5 mornings per week. I do appreciate your comments on our beer selection and I will take this on board when reviewing our selection for our Spring Menu. However, we do have craft beers on tap and in bottles. We do only have 4 taps, which include Heads of Noosa Japanese Lager or Balter Pale Ale, Mountain Goat Steam Ale, Asahi and Stone and Wood. So, of our 4 taps, 3 are craft beers and 1 international beer. We also stock Young Henry's Newtowner, Your Mate's Larry's Pale ale in Cans and Burleigh Big Head No Carb Lager along with 16 other styles of beer. I am wondering if you came in at happy hour and only read our happy hour selection which is a choice of 4 beers which rotate both craft beers, local and international beers.Again, thank you for your comments, as mentioned above we will take all feedback on board to improve Canteen's future offerings.

Ordered some gluten free bread with my breakfast. Was poisoned with regular bread after checking twice it was in fact actually gluten free as the bread looked too nice haha. When explaining this to the french manager she became aggressive and had to explain why this was all my fault. Never eating here again. You shouldnt either.

WINNER BEST CLUB SUNSHINE COAST AND BEST DINING QLD 2017. Our Beachfront Restaurant serves lunch and dinner 7 days a week. We have an exciting menu ideal for those long, leisurely lunches or special dinners. Youâll find something on our menu to suit all t
Visited this bistro at lunch on a Tuesday. Didnât book ahead. Arrived around 1.30pm. Chose to sit outside on the balcony as the weather was lovely. The view from the restaurant is amazing and worth visiting the club for alone. We ordered a Seafood platter for 2 which included 2 x oysters, 2 x mornay scallops, 2 x battered fish, 2 x prawns, a basket of calamari and a tasty green salad. No chips just seafood which we really enjoyed. Too many times you order a seafood platter or fishermanâs basket only to have the seafood dwarfed by a mountain of chips. Price $51 for non-members. Seafood was very nice, particularly the oysters and scallops. Recommend.Thank you for your lovely 5 star review. We source as much of our seafood locally as we can, which makes a big difference in flavour and quality on the plate. We are so happy to hear that was reflected in the meal you ordered.Your lovely feedback has been passed onto the chefs and has made their day.Hope you can visit us again soon for another relaxing meal on our spectacular deck.

Welcome to Castrosâs new owner. Unfortunately he thinks itâs ok to smoke just outside the doorway . Never mind the legality of being 4 meters from the entrance to smoke !!!!!Apparently he also thinks itâs ok to drink alcohol just outside on the footpath !!!!Never mind that itâs against the law to drink out on the street !!!No no no Mr New Owner

The Caf Coolum is the perfect place to enjoy freshly roasted coffee while catching up with friends, enjoy a great breakfast or light lunch, kick back with a glass of wine, savour a sweet treat, use the free wi-fi or simply take some time out.
Really nice coffee and food, the older lady serving me was great when I realised ricotta was in the smashed avo, and my toddler can't eat it, so happily changed our order when I realised (thanks!) We'd definitely go back. Voodoo bacon is so tasty!
