We ordered ribs St Louis , lamb burger and a chicken burger. We also ordered Crispy Onion Rings . The ribs are really tasty. The Onion Rings is a definitely failure . The name is misleading. They are not rings . They are chopped onions. They are very oily and without any sweetness of onions . Left most of them uneaten.

Before visiting Burger Patch, I saw on one website that this is the best chicken burger in Sydney. Well, not for me. On the whole, the burger was not bad with quite a big and crispy chicken patty. Not very juicy. Not very big.

Cosy, out of the way location set in a lining of trees. Service was excellent. We had a twist on classic avocado smash with feta, corn and cauliflower as well as the French toast. Both delicious and the kids could play to the side I out of other dinners way but still in sight. We will be back very soon.

We were a large group there for a special 0 birthday and were in a private room. The staff were very accommodating in helping with the planning of the night and also very helpful on the night. The food was full of flavour and everyone was happy with their choice. Service was very good. Street parking is available but best to get there before 7pm unless you want a longer walk to the restaurant as there are other diners in this area. Inside Bistro 54 is very pleasant - a nice ambience. Would definitely recommend.Hi Aussie Traveller50, Thanks for taking the time to review your dining experience. We are so pleased to hear that everyone enjoyed themselves at the birthday. We will pass on your kind words to the staff. We look forward to you visiting again Kind RegardsCaryn Medak

We had our typically weekly visit to The Wooden Whisk today (20/March) and we quickly noticed something was very different. Apart from one recognised and brilliant waitress that again took our order today, there was not the regular smiling faces we have been so fond of for the past 3 years. We have enjoyed having our babies in prams assisted with carrying down (and back up) the stairs, informally and kindly reserving for us half of the communal table with a quick Saturday morning phone call for our team of toddler triplets, and the ultra consistent great coffee, fresh meals and the best service bar none in the area and beyond. On asking the waitress today that we have known from there for many months if there had been a change in ownership, she confirmed today was the first day under new owners. The kitchen staff remained, the one waitress remained too, everyone else was new to the Wooden Whisk. This post is just to say thank you to the previous owners and team over the past 3+ years. You did an incredible job and made a sit down at your cafe, far more than just a meal and/or coffee. Our children learned to eat at a restaurant (not always appropriately) at your great venue. I am glad I got to say to the barista (presumed part owner), whilst unbeknownst to me that it would be the last time, that she had just served me the best coffee, I had ever hadâ¦and I have 3 coffees a day for at least the past decade! Whilst obviously sad to see you go, you have absolutely nailed it with the timing I would suggest (the downturn is indeed coming and it's likely to be sharp) and we hope your next chapter is an exciting and great one. You all deserve it. To the new owners and team, the cafe atmosphere has changed for us literally overnight so we are unlikely to be back, however, you have retained high quality kitchen staff and a waitress that is as good as the WW had in all the time we visitedâ¦and they had many great ones. We wish you the best of luck and hope it goes well for you all. Cheers,Scott Crank

Bringing the beauty of the outdoors, inside. Flower Child is a café, a garden and an eatery passionate about creating memorable dining experiences anywhere, even a shopping centre.
Came to Flower Child for a coffee catchup. The place is quite busy and seating inside is quite squished however it is a lovely experience as the interior is done really well with foliage and flowers. This establishment is part of The Grounds of Alexandria and so the menu has some good offerings. There is also seating outside. Quite popular and the seats were all quickly filled up. It opens late on Thursday night.

What a lovely old-fashioned, cosy, flower- filled ambience! 3 of us celebrated a birthday lunch. Excellent service and the food was so generous and flavourful- especially the blackboard special Tomato Basil Ravioli- a real winner. Desserts were delicious too! Weâll definitely return. Highly recommended!
