At Bellingen Valley Lodge we have 28 rooms set on 16 acres of beautiful lush greenery. The Lodge Restaurant & Bar is open from Thursday - Saturday Night from 5pm. We also serve a full hot country buffet breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The menu
I was surprised to find this restaurant ranked as low as it was on TripAdvisor, it is better than that.Attached to the Bellingen Valley Lodge Motel, the restaurant is large and in need of a good update, furniture and fittings wise. However, it has a super sized, double sided fireplace, which was very welcome on a cold night. Staff were helpful, but seemed a touch inexperienced. The menu was short, but long enough to offer reasonable variety, even though the night we were there we were not attracted to entrées on offer, so we skipped them. My eye fillet steak was very good; thick, large, cooked as requested (rare) and very tender and tasty. The potato mash it was on, and the accompanying vegetables were ordinary. My wifeâs (also large) roasted pork cutlet with mustard dressing was also judged to be very good, and with slightly better seasonal vegetables.Desserts were quite reasonable for price, but nothing to write home about.Overall, a better than average Motel restaurant, especially if you donât want to drive to Bellingen for a meal. The only downside (also mentioned by others) were the rowdy and unruly kids that were allowed to roam free, with no parental or staff control.Hi Simonw582, Thank you for your review and we look forward to your next dinning experience with us. All feedback is greatly appreciated as we are continually finding ways to improve our service. Some of these areas of improvement (e.g. furniture and fittings) do take time to change however you should see some fantastic changes to our property in the due course. Kind Regards, Bellingen Valley Lodge Team

What lovely meals, service, lunch deals and friendly staff. Such a lovely outlook to the beautiful golf course with inside or outside seating. Today we had the fish, calamari and prawn cutlets served with salad and chips which was absolutely delicious, in the past we have tried the homemade pies and fish and chips, all delicious. Just love the relaxing atmosphere.

We have now eaten here three times over the past five years and the quality has been consistently good. The quite extensive menu has some interesting choices and we were surprised at the very generous servings when the dishes were served by the friendly staff . The four dishes we enjoyed were of very good standard and we ate outside on a pleasant verandah, although the inside areas also looked very comfortable.

The Corner Store is a cafe by day and casual restaurant by night. Providing 'real good food' at affordable prices, with attentive staff, right in the middle of town. We support our local growers, producers, and artisans in the heart of beautiful Bellingen
We went to a full house last Friday evening to enjoy Corner Stores Middle Eastern cuisine. Each month they change the cuisine category and we have previously enjoyed their Italian. The service, food ( locally sourced and organic where possible) atmosphere and value for money all encourage us to be amongst other very happy regulars. Thank you to the owners for providing this great restaurant/ cafe. Grazzybear, Thanks for the review, we're glad that you enjoy our changing cuisine. Our summer seasonal menu is soon to be unveiled.

Dropped in for a quick lunch and order a coffee and Vietnamese pork roll.Found this place at the top end of town amoung a group of funky little shops.Coffee was surprisingly good and hot.The pork roll was a slightly different take in others Iâve had but it was delicious and there was lots of it.Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.

We had the gonocci with pumpkin and friends had the mixed platter. Both were delicious. It is a lovely setting next to the golf course in beautiful Bellingen.

Live Music, Local and Organic Food, Vegetarian and Vegan Friendly, Liscensed Bar. Great staff. Amazing Venue.
Had late lunch on Saturday. Blonde hair waitress with tattoo on arm not doing much for your business in terms of customer service. Gave major attitude when ordering/talking with her, seemed super unimpressed to be there in general, slamming plates and glassware around when clearing tables, was sitting down at a table with a friend at one point with back to door and had a line up of customers at the counter waiting to be served! Service overall rather poor.Food on the other hand was delicious. Enjoyed black bean and peanut burger (cool comination guys) with hand cut fries. Nice!

Awesome little cafe in the heart of Bellingen Using lots of locally sourced organic produce and beautiful Will & Co Coffee
Freindly staff and great service. Lovely spot off the main road. Now with more seating outside due to an extension of the footpath. Great range of food and great specials.

We turned up on Fatherâs Day with our 4yo triplet boys without a booking and were greeted warmly, given an excellent table for the family to enjoy. The food was great and boutique beers too! Service was a highlight. They even brought a basket of kids toys to the table to entertain them. Bravo and Thank you Team Cedar!! Cheers,Scott Crank

Casual European eatery with the kitchen headed by Swiss chef Renato Silvestri. Renato endeavours to use the vast array of fresh local ingredients in his menus. The coffee served is Di Manfredi which has become a popular choice in Bellingen. The Fennel See
Great spot on the pavement just off the Main Street. Very busy too. Advertising board says best coffee in Bellingen but find this hard to believe. Service really slow for coffee and both had food at least 4 / 5 minutes before coffees arrived. Lemon tart was tasty but nothing special. Bacon and egg burger was definitely the highlight here. Generous portions of perfectly cooked tasty bacon and two large fried eggs. Excellent sauce and chiabatta style roll too. Highly recommend the burger but the rest was just OK.
