Food is good for a quick business luncheon. Good for office groups and would be child friendly. Good value for money.

This little place is wonderful. I was so surprised by the service and the food quality. It was probably one of the best restaurants in Parramatta. I plan to go back as soon as possible as itâs only a block away from work.

We had been here before and enjoyed the food. Not so good this time. For a start the place was pretty noisy and had to communicate with your guests. We ordered tomato brushetta on GF bread and a Falafel wrap with chips and coffee. The bruscetta came with barely ripened miniature tomatoes and poor quality GF bread. The falafel wrap was OK with 3 falafel pieces in a salad wrapped in Turkish bread with a side salad as well. Coffee has hat and good. The food was not to the usual standard and to pay $42 for a lunch and not enjoy the quality of the food presented was disappointing.

Little Rock Cafe is one of the most loved and celebrated restaurants in the Hills Shire. The restaurant represents a vibrant space inspired and reflective of the local community spirit. We are the perfect breakfast, lunchtime and coffee venue in the Hills
Had a late lunch with my wife today at the Little Rock Café. There is an after 2.00pm specials board - so we selected from that. My wife ordered a grilled chicken salad while I ordered the Calamari. (both served with chips and a can of soft drink). The chicken salad was disappointing - some rather tired looking leaves with a splash of balsamic dressing, some limp chips and a couple of small pieces of thin grilled chicken (actually looked like it was pan fried). But that was much better than the calamari - have never tasted anything like it. The Calamari was a soft mash inside the crumb covering. Looks like it had been minced very finely and mixed with ?something -possibly minced fish- and formed into rings then crumbed and cooked. Absolutely no texture at all and not pleasant at all to eat - didn't even taste like calamari but more of a fish flavor. Wont be going back there any time soon - if ever.

Thoroughly enjoyed delicious baked eggs & chorizo (shakshuka) with a tomatoey sauce that my daughter kept stealing with her bread. My other daughter had French toast with rhubarb, which was such a treat that weâll be rushing back soon. Lovely friendly vibe and hugely popular for good reason

Welcome to your local escape. A place where you can unwind and enjoy good wholesome meals, homemade cakes, great coffee and local service. Open daily from 7am till 4pm.
Came to Arthur street cafe on recommendations from others. I did book the high tea late and so may be a contributing factor to my disappointment. Savoury selections were minimal, it amounted to basically 2 small sandwichâs to share. A scone each, a small yogurt fruit pot each and some slices and 1 drink each (they made the 1 drink per person very clear). When I went to pay I was thinking it would be about $40-$50. And ok I would have accepted that and my review may have been different. But WOW $80. For what was served, that is robbery. We will not be returning anytime soon sorry. We have done high teas elsewhere for much less and much better quality.Oh no! Unfortunately it sounds like we have let you down and it is especially dissappointing when it is a special occassion like a daddy/daughter date. As a Dad too, I know how precious that time is. My email address is [email protected] and if you wouldn't mind emailing me there, I would like to make it up to you.

Went for lunch with friends, our meals were cold, small and overpriced. The steak was just that a lump of meat and some parsnip purée, my pork belly was tasty but cold,my husbands fish was so small ,when he called the waitress to complain, she said, rudely, what do you me to do about it. Badly handled. The service was appalling. Will never return. Would NOT recommend this place it is an absolute ripoff.

Lachlan's Restaurant is located within Old Government House Parramatta Park... PRIVATE DINING ROOMS, CHRISTMAS PARTIES, 10 to 30 guests and fantastic garden marquee, HIGH TEAS. RELAX and ENJOY. You can dine on the verandah or in your own cosy dining room
Not up to the standard I was expecting having read previous reviews and having eaten there before. The lunch menu looked promising but the serves were minuscule and rather mean. For examle one cherry tomato in a salad. Perhaps the chef was having a bad day in the extreme heat!thank you... good to know. we will look into it. dishes are about half the price of our old main courses and meant to be share plate dishes in between entree and main size. thank you and best wishes for the New Year
