Do not think this is as an average restaurant in another business hotel... food is exceptional here. I am not exegerating - one of the best sushi that I have ever tasted. Their hot food selection is also very good. If you ever have to stay somewhere close to the Brussels Airport, you should not miss this place!!!Dear Uyum,We're very proud on our Sushi Restaurant. We're so happy that you really enjoyed it. Much appreciated that you share your feedback on Tripadvisor. Spread the word!Kind regards,Dorien BroothaertsGuest Experience Manager

It is indeed a hidden gem - but easy to reach from European area of Brussels by public transport - 20 min. Family run, very nice people, and some dishes absolutely excellent. I would especially recommend amok, very tasty and authentic, and grilled prawns, melting in mouth. The service is very attentive and warm, advice is offered, and complimentary digestive drinks brought. Even our 19 years daughter was impressed. We will come again with friends.

Stayed for one night at the Holiday Inn and decided that I didnât want to eat the usual hotel food, so decided to make the 10-15 minute walk to nearby Diegem.Small independent Thai restaurant, offering the usual range of Thai dishes, as well as a few specials. I went for the â¬25 set menu, which had soup (Tom Yang prawn - not too hot, big juicy prawns, fresh ingredients), a selection of appetisers (spring rolls etc) and a green chicken curry with rice (again not too hot, enough chicken for two and an absolutely fantastic taste)Dessert was rum ice-cream, which I didnât really need, but what the heck!Washed down with Jupiler @ â¬2.50 a glass.Would recommend this if you are staying at any of the airport hotels and fancy something different from burgers, pizza and ceasar salad.......

I was invited by friends to this - to me unknown - restaurant. The service was outstanding. The food was fresh and delicious. I will certainly go back there!

We visited tonight for the first time since refurbishment. Much nicer inside than it used to be and the usual quietly polite service. The poppadoms was served with no chutney, the nan was heavy, the shrimp goa lacked any fresh flavours and was watery . My vegetarian biryani was quite good but had no nuts. The dishes lacked freshness and complexity of flavours. A pity. We will not be rushing back.

The food was OK, not fantastic, but reasonable, the service incredibly bad. One slow incompetent waitress, we had to wait 1,5 hours for our food,didn't get our drinks even after asking several times. 3 parties left because they simply didn't get the possibility to order, our neighbor table was asked to cancel their desert because the chef was too busy. When a group of 12 people came in they arranged tables for them for about 10 minutes, while most tables still never were able to place an order, even for drinks. One waitress had to cover all tables, didn't speak a word of English, it was a laugh.

Went there with one of my friends for lunch. After have spend my holidays in Thaïland this year I wanted to see if they were able to match the quality there. Well...not bad I must say. I had the sweet and sour chicken (which is not traditionally Thaï but ok) and my friend noodles with chicken. Huge portions and freshly prepared. Prices are in line with what you get...so good address in Zaventem if you're looking for a Thaï restaurant;

Asian restaurants you can find by the thousands, Chinese being the pioneers in offering the flavor of Asian cuisine going back to the golden sixties. Nowadays other Asian cultures find their ways to our lunch and dinner tables. Thai, Vietnamees, Japanese, you name it. Chinese is common, like döner or pizza. So it becomes a challenge to find a Chinese restaurant that offers that slightly different approach, that touch of an unknown Chinese province ending with -ing, flavors we never tasted before. It is a true challenge to find an escape to the commercial european flat take away we find around the corner. Well, I was told Palais Imperial was one of those, at least a special one, not a regular one. So I went for lunch, saw quite some Asian executives there, good sign but left disappointed. It is a chinese like many other, around the corner.

Japanse noodles barrecht tegenover het station
Small restaurant offering soups and a few side dishes. Nothing fancy but a great spot for a quick and tasty lunch.Iâve now tried all the different ramen and they are all excellent. I think my favourite is the Kara miso which is a bit spicy!
