Although there are several Indian restaurants closer to us, we choose to drive a few miles more to the Lopen Raj because the food is so flavoursome and fresh. Itâs also great value for money with good-sized servings that are beautifully presented. The staff are all very helpful and friendly â nothing is too much trouble.

Visited as a party of 4 which included our family from France, we had the buffet at about £25 each, tasters were fabulous as were all the courses, piping hot, family really enjoyed the experience as this is something they cannot enjoy in Brittany, will be going again soon.

Our order tonight was amazing!My garlic chilli masala was very tasty, while Husbandâs milder chicken tikka masala was also very aromatic and lovely.Leave plenty of time if you are very hungry, but well worth the wait.Thank you very much for a superb meal.Even got poppadoms.

I am writing this review to get it off my chest. I have been to quite a few curry houses in my time but this one has got to be THE worst out of 200 !Do not eat here. Awful food, uninspiring staff. I feel like a nuisance just for asking a polite question. I donât normally like to moan but in this case, it is well justified. Did I mention Patronising ?

Popped into Lamjuan on Saturday lunchtime as the restaurant we'd planned to go to was unexpectedly closed. We were the only customers there but that didn't spoil the atmosphere as the chef was just brilliant. She cooked our dishes in front of us, checked the level of spiciness we wanted and the ingredients were all fresh and flavoursome. When we'd finished eating she came out from behind the counter to chat. It felt like such a personal service. We also loved the setting which was cafe style but very clean and welcoming. The food selection is moderate but not overcomplicated, making it easy to order for someone who struggles to make decisions like myself. The quality and presentation of the food was wonderful, and the sushi itself was delicious. I donât pretend to be a connoisseur of sushi, but I found every dish we ordered to be fantastic and of very high quality. I will most definitely be coming here again.
