It's a Feast at The Mantle! (Nasa Fiesta Ka Dito!)
I enjoyed the pork BBQ on rice. It was very flavorful. My mom had the quesadilla. The quesadilla was very filling and we enjoyed the salsa. It was a very relaxing meal and we will be coming again.

This place was recommended to us by the desk guy at our hotel. Obviously, he's friends with the owner, because it was lousy. I ordered egg rolls. these things came out and each was about a foot long with big heavy batter on them. What?! We were the only people in there. Not surprised.

Located in down town yellowknife, walking distance to a lot of hotels, next to a cinema. More like a fast food shop that you have to order your food at the counter. Friendly service. Lots of spicy dishes so be careful when ordering if you cannot take the heat. I had tofu soup, too spicy for me though it has only one pink dot on the menu.... supposed to be the least spicy, compared to 2 red dots.

Full service Japanese restaurant, take-out and delivery catering.
There is two Japanese Sushi restaurants in downtown Yellowknife , both is great quality , the only different is the Sushi North is more a authentic traditional , fast quick eat and run restaurant ,and the Sushi Cafe is more sit down relax restaurant ,not 100% authentic ,Japanese food ,but the menu is got a lot of choices ,, they both excellent ,special in Yellowknife ! ,I find the Sushi Cafe looks great and clean out side ,inside the restaurant ,the ambiance ,mood ,atmosphere ,do not feel relax ,and not much open space ,but ,the foods I have no complaint , the Ginger Beef is fantastic ! (Chinese Style ?? ) the Tempura is excellent too , if you want me to choice which on is the best ,they just like Yin and Yang ,but truly for hot items ,the Sushi Cafe is excellent , for cold items ,Sushi North is the best ,, over all ,people in Yellowknife so lucky ,they have two great Japanese restaurants down town ! so ,if you in Yellowknife to see the Northern Light ,try this two restaurants out , fabulous and not pricey at all , and do not for get ,in Yellowknife ,a 90% of the restaurants is closed on Sunday ,only the hotel restaurants are open ! so ,enjoy the time ,these two restaurants are my Top Five restaurants in Yellowknife !

I cannot believe that anyone would give a rating of anything but terrible. The service was okay. The food was bland, untasty and cold. We had two dishes and both were less than adequate. The rolls were less than pleasant to eat.

This restaurant was recommended to us by friend in Edmonton before we go to visit Yellowknife. The food is tasty and quite authentic. It will be better if they increase the portion a bit. We missed their buffet on both time we were there. We will come back if we visit Yellowknife again.

Sushi North serves a best selection of delicious, traditional, high-quality fresh food. Specially Arctic Char!! Featuring tasty seaweed salads and many appetizers, noodles, rice, Uramaki (inside out roll with rice and fillings) Triyaki chicken and an asso
The sushi and rolls are great, many sets for selections if you wanna try different items. Japanese operated, so the food and services are undoubtedly great! It may not be the most authentic, but I went there two days in a roll! You canât get disappointed if Japanese food is your fav!
