If you've read some of my other reviews, you know I love Thai food, and I am always seeking new places to try some. Racha Thai was recommended to me, and since I was meeting a friend in Worcester for lunch, I suggested that we go there. My first suggestion is either use GPS or get good directions, because if you're not careful, you'll drive right past it: this restaurant is in the back part of a strip mall, on route 20 (the good news is it's very close to the Mass Turnpike; and there is an on site parking lot with free parking). To look at it from outside, you might think Racha Thai is not very impressive, but once you go inside, your attitude will change, as ours did: you will find an attractive and spacious restaurant, decorated with a number of Buddhist images along with other art. The dining area is surprisingly spacious, and the acoustics were definitely conducive to good conversation. The food was really good too: my friend is a vegetarian, so she had vegetable pad thai (she loved it); I like duck, and ordered the duck choo chee-- a difficult dish to do well, but Racha Thai presented it beautifully and the sauce was neither too spicy nor too overpowering. My only complaint was several pieces of the duck were dry, while others were cooked perfectly. There was Thai iced tea for my friend, and Thai iced coffee for me. Portions were so big that neither of us wanted dessert, and we both remarked on how attentive and cordial the server was. The day we visited, business was slow, but our server told us that was unusual; they especially do a lot of business on the weekends when they have a buffet. As for my friend and me, now that we know how to find this restaurant, we are ready to come back to it soon.

A good vegan alternative, service ok-ish, a little slow and not very coordinated. We were 3 and each of us was served at different times. Only few minutes difference, but still.... One dish waited few minutes on the counter because the server was on the phone, so it arrived on the table warm but not hot.

This is by far my favorite cuisine. I have eaten this food since childhood. So when I suggest that this is by far the best restaurant of its kind in eastern Massachusetts, I know that I am saying a lot. However, time and again, these people consistently deliver the best and most flavorful stir-fry dishes. They cater to Chinese native palates. Flavors are spot on. Used have a location in Framingham that was closed. Now I must drive 35 miles for the meal... it's really worth it. Every fish I try is fantastic. Ask for cumin flavored spare ribs... not explicitly on the menu, but crave worthy and So Good! They'll make it if asked. Wow! Just... Wow!

Even though we had a reservation, we waited for over a half hour for a table. Curiously enough, another party came in a few minutes after their reservation time and were chastised by the hostess for being late, even though their table wasn't ready either. When we were finally seated, the food took forever to come out, odd for such a limited menu. All of this might have been overlooked if the food was anything but average. The chicken sandwich (one of the waiter's favorites) was like rubber. How do you mess up a chicken sandwich? We won't bother the next time.

We went to Chuan Shabu based on a majority of good reviews received from past patrons. Unfortunately, our waitress wasn't interested in providing good service. Water was ordered with the wine. Eventually, the wine arrived, but no water. Waited a bit before trying to get her attention. She walked by several times looking every where else but at our table, so we couldn't easily get her attention. When she took our order, she (and the kitchen) didn't separate the appetisers from the meals, so we received the appetisers with the meals. The egg rolls were more like spring rolls. The Kung Pao Beef was not made with chilli and Sichuan peppercorns. This is not a truly authentic Sichuan restaurant. On the pro side, all the meat and vegetables in all the dishes were fresh.

Can always get a seat and the staff was pleasant at this mom and pop style Thai restaurant. While Iâve certainly had better Thai dishes elsewhere, itâs probably one of the better choices of where to have lunch if youâre in downtown Worcester during the day time. Prices are reasonable and the staff there is good about getting you in and out in time for a quick lunch.

Great service, quickly seated. The staff helped explain food choices. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Spice lovers and haters were equally happy with the food. Make sure to get a Boba with Boba-lychee, banana, and passion fruit bobas were all so yummy! the place is clean, Will definitely go again.

We love Vietnamese food, and often âhuntâ for it when we travel. We were in Worcester today to visit the museum, and came here for lunch. Excellent. I had bun, which I love. My spouse had chicken pho, which he loved. We will go back again.

Iâve eaten at Baba many times over many years. Never disappoints. Iâve tried many other sushi restaurants and always compare them to Baba. The others rarely measure up. Love to sit at the bar and try different sushi options. Service is always good as well.
