P.F. Chang's is a restaurant concept that honors the 2,000-year-old Asian tradition of wok cooking and believes in making food from scratch every day in every restaurant. With a Farm to Wok food philosophy at its core, P.F. Chang's chefs hand-roll dim sum
I was in the Westbury area and was starving. Last week, I had a wonderful lunch in their West New York, NJ location, so I came for another here. I ordered the Mongolian Beef which was prepared perfectly. Beef was very tender. Service was great too. The food here is so addictive!

Westbury, LI⦠just blah suburbia and urban blecch-scape. Nothing exciting except the PTA signs and the election trash everywhere, interspersed with boring-boring-boring-middle-muddle-residential streets and strip malls. And then one finds a real gem for oriental food. GREAT oriental food.Returning from a shopping spree in Hicksville (another such neighborhoodâ¦) we suddenly realized we were starving and had read âbout this hidden gem somewhere, and looked it up on google maps. Yay.. there it was, just a few blocks south of Old Country Road. So, armed with anticipation and an empty belly, we bravely sallied forth, south, into parts unknown.Too bad this wasnât really dinnertime, and was too late for lunch. But they were open and cooking. Small crowd inside: three eaters eating, three cookers cooking, one manager managing, (and two of us touring) and we ordered some stuff to go because we didnât think we liked the look of the place so much. Yes, the décor leaves much to be desired: this is the diner of Vietnamese/Thai restaurants ~ a storefront dive, nothing fancy, artful, pretty, or cheerful about the inside, but what they put out from their kitchen is anything but!! We ordered Grilled Hash Pork and a Pate & Pork Roll, both of which were just slamming with flavor and freshness. Very quickly prepared, and very fresh and succulent. Overall? â¦excellent. Really excellent! Expensive? No! Really fantastic? â¦absolutely!!! We must go and have a full meal sometime.

We arrived and it was very busy with a wedding in one room and a full dining room. The host was very polite and we only had a short wait. The food is always head and shoulders above any other Indian cuisine in the NYC metro area. The servings are plentiful and even the mango lassi are better than anyplace else. Well worth the trip for us!

a group of 4 of us stopped by on a cold night for dinner. Parking is on the street. We were lucky to find parking close by. It is a very small restaurant. It only seats around 30 people. We squeezed into our tables and enjoyed some beer. The spring rolls were quite tasty. The samosa chaat was a little too bland. The soups were great - hot and spicy. We shared the fried rice, the vegetable Manchurian and chili panner. The food was good. The panner was salty but we were able to get it replaced. Our friend had the goat achari which was pretty good. The service was just okay - the waiter was neither friendly nor prompt. But the food was good and we would try it again if we are in the area.

My friends bring my wife and I to Taka Sushi Japanese Restaurant every time we are up to visit them. The place has the best food, and their prices are very reasonable. Service is average when they are busy but it's worth the wait.

Shiro of Japan of Carle Place and Glendale (The Shops at Atlas Park) New York, have the reputation for providing an exceptional and authentic Japanese dining experience at affordable prices for more than thirty years.
Shiro of Japan is a Long Island tradition for hibachi cook in front of you dinners. I have been going here for years. It has out lasted numerous other chain hibachi restaurants that have opened and closed in the neighborhood. Itâs the same menu they have always had with the onion soup, ginger salad and hibachi entree with rice and vegetables. The live entertainment is the chef cooking your dinner.
