This is tops on my list of places to eat when I fly into SLC. Fantastic lunch specials but their menu is amazing. The green curry is phenomenal. I have had quite a few dishes here and they are all fantastic - drunken noodles, massaman gai, panang gai, pad Thai - all available to your desired level of heat - and all delicious. Well worth your time if you love Thai. The Thai iced tea is also yummy.

Full disclosure: I don't like raw fish. I didn't eat any raw fish on this trip. My companions who do eat raw fish frequent "Simply Sushi" regularly and finally talked me into trying it. There are plenty of cooked varieties of sushi and I walked away having tried many and feeling satisfied. Their cooked varieties are obviously not an afterthought. You can also order your selection wrapped in soy instead of seaweed. I had an upside down shrimp, a kong, and California roll and they were all fantastic. I will return to this restaurant without hesitation and heartily recommend it.
Was in town on business, coworkers who live here told me I had to try this place. We all went there for lunch and it was excellent. Lunch counter style serving and then you go find a table to sit at. Hawaiian themed food. Barbecue chicken, sliced steak, pineapple and teriyaki type sauces. Really good choice and was very happy with the quantity of food I got.Wasn't terribly expensive, I think my meal came to 12 bucks including drink. Thanks for the 5-star! We're glad you left full and happy! We hope you come back to town soon, so we can serve you again.

The good: affordable Mon-Fri lunch specials, of which my favorites are curries. For dinner, my fav curries are massaman, yellow, green, red, pineapple, mango, & panang (these flavors are not all offered as a lunch special). I can't write enough praise about these curries! The food here is authentic & mouth watering, & they also serve good Thai & American breakfast dishes Mon-Sun A.M. ***WARNING: I'm barely able to tolerate a "1.5 Spiciness Level" in their curries & other Thai plates, and I've learned to not go above a Level 1.***The bad: the bathroom pipes odors need to be resolved. There's a grate near the counter for payment and meal take out, and I often get a whiff of a sewer, which is unfortunate. The dine-in table service can be slow. I've ordered curries numerous times for take out in which I've specified NO powdered pepper / NO spiciness, but several times they were still prepared w/ pepper & were unfortunately too spicy for my friend to eat, so I had to eat them instead.

Remember when Tepanyaki used to serve fried rice and noodles with your meal? You would leave with a box full of food? Those days are no more. Hadn't been here in years, but came back because we got a gift certificate, and left pretty disappointed. We got the Filet mignon and chicken.Filet is still delicious and very tender.Vegetables were crunchy, which I like, but the onion was undercooked. The chicken is both light and dark meat, so if you don't like both, be prepared to ask. I was very disappointed that we had to pay extra for fried rice and noodles, which they used to just give. Ultimately, you are paying about $30 per person to eat here. Seems that Tepanyaki has lost it's way in a world of money grubbers. I remember leaving with leftovers, but there wasn't anything left.Food was good, but with how much they charge, we won't be back.

This is the best thai food i have ever tried. The Tom Kha Gai soup is absolutely phenomenal, and the fried rice is second most favorite thing there. I havent had a disappointing dish here since i started going in 2009. This is regular haunt for me whenever i can make it.

This is not an entree you can order, however it could decribe all I've had. In my phone I have the new Thai Cafe under the listing of drunken noodles number 53 with tofu. I like tofu but I like chicken beef and shrimp more, but when having several of their entrees my friend got me hooked on the tofu option because they do it so well. the Vietnamese bowl of soup with the Crisp cucumbers fresh mint bean sprouts and egg roll on top with this broth the just takes your breath away because of so refreshing and good. I could eat that bowl of soup every single day. Let me remind you its enough for 2 people. Pad thai is exceptionally good I often get one the there coffees to go in the morning light on the whip cream one cup of coffee I promise you has enough caffeine keep anyone going for hours. They make it fresh so you're in for a wait so call ahead and they can make it to go. They expanded there dining room to another 10 tables or so, there just a lovely bunch over there they work very hard and use extremely fresh ingredients. I'm glad Ive been a customer since they first opened. It's been neat to see them grow. much deserving of it. make the time to go to that strip mall in West Jordan.you'll be happy. Also there very accommodating on things

Slow time of day, 3pm. Ordered my favorite: small plate short ribs minus green onions. Plated beautifully as usual. Meat was undercooked. And I just couldnt bring myself to send it back- general rumors ya know.My daughter joined later and service was very slow. We ordered coconut glory dessert minus coconut flakes. The ice cream was ginger instead of coconut.Tsunami usually does not disappoint, but it did today and this was my first time at the SJ location.Tracie- Thank you for sharing your recent experience at our South Jordan location. We have shared your comments with our service staff and kitchen team in order to make sure that your next visit is up to our high quality standards. We hope to see you again very soon.

Went here for dinner and had some xcellent pad Thai. Also had some curry noodle and egg plant. The egg plant was just ok but the curry was good and as I have said excellent pad thai. Also had Tom Tom that was ok. Service was quick and efficient. The decor is pretty simple and it is an obvious family run restaurant. Pricing is very reasonable.
