If you are looking for a restaurant with multiple options and a family friendly environment, Hibachi Grill, Supreme Buffet is known as the largest and most elegant Chinese, Japanese, Asian and America
Ate here the other night. Was pretty busy for a Tuesday evening. Food on the buffet was Hot & Fresh. The mongolian grill was delicious, as always. Nice selection of pretty much anything a person would want whether they are a child or an adult. For the price, this place is very hard to beat.

I stopped in for a later evening light supper after a few hours of driving because this was near my hotel. The Spring Rolls were not fresh (wrappers were gummy and chewy and split open down the length of the roll when they sliced them in half, so all the fillings fell out when I tried to eat them); the three sauces for the rolls were a nice touch, but the peanut sauce was warm and gelatinous ... ick. The Mango with Sticky Rice was good. Mango slices were very thick (I prefer thinner because it's easier to eat) and the rice was an odd blue/green color, but it was perfectly warm and sweet.

The only positive is they don't chop the mess out of your food anymore... Not sure why it's so highly rated... Maybe it's quantity over quality or maybe it's the kids digging the cooking in front of you... Not sure. I had the chicken and steak - both were tough and the pieces so thin you could almost see through them. The place was DIRTY! There was food everywhere - on the stations, on the floor... we were walking on it and sliding around although not on purpose. The area is pretty tight when there's a crowd. The glass above the sauces and the length of the ladles made it impossible not to spill sauce either into other containers or on the station itself. The egg drop soup we got as an appetizer tasted like water. I guess people just love buffets?? I would hit my local Asian restaurant first in a heartbeat. We were not impressed. Sorry.

Our family enjoyed a delicious lunch, even the picky granddaughter loved her spicy noodles meal. The dishes are prepared with fresh vegetables and meats, and the sauces are flavorful. You can customize the spiciness of your meal from mild to wild. As we finished our lunches, we all said we couldn't wait to come back again.

We didn't even realize this sushi restaurant was in town, so close to our house. So tonight we decided to try it. We were NOT disappointed. The waitress, Linda (Lin Dan), was GREAT. She went above and beyond... without being too much. Truthfully, the perfect level of service for us.We started with edamame and shrimp tempura... very good. Then had the Hawkeye roll (we all loved it), the Wonder Women (it was good but nothing I would order again), the Crunch (spicy ... just the right amount), Philadelphia, asparagus, avocado, sweet potato. This restaurant is small with less than a dozen tables... AND we loved that about it. We'll be back! And will definitely be ordering take out as well.

Located in a large complex of different eateries and businesses. Very spacious. Felt very nice, clean, and new. The food is the obvious PF Chang fare. Tasty and no surprises.

Enjoy a unique, entertaining, dining experience at the hands of the talented chefs of Ohana Steakhouse: the greatest tasting show in town! As long as you're not afraid of flying shrimp and the chef with a big knife, the chefs at Ohana Steakhouse will serv
I consider myself quite the foodie, and Ohana's is my favorite restaurant in my hometown of Des Moines, hands-down. The quality of the food is outstanding; the atmosphere is fun; the staff is friendly. I order the Royal Combination with a filet and scallops - I would say their best known dish. The steak is cooked to perfection, and the lemon sauce they make in-house for the scallops is... addictive, for lack of better word. We have been there so many times now that our order has gotten bigger and bigger because they offer so many delicious options. We always order with garlic and chili powder now, and an appetizer of calamari as well - which is not the typical chewy calamari you think of, but instead is tender, well-seasoned, and unbreaded. I could go on and on. The sauces are all amazing. Just don't plan on having room for dessert, because in all the years I have eaten there I have only ordered it once I think - never enough room. If you're a light, or even medium-eater, plan on having leftovers.First off, Courtney, I have to thank you for visiting us all this time! It's wonderful the scallops, steak, and of course the lemon sauce always hit the spot. I look forward to welcoming you back next time you're back in Des Moines. All the best,Marco, Manager

With the exception of one other Thai restaurant this is the best Thai food we have had outside of Thailand.Pad See Ew and Spicy Basil. Flavorful, absolutely wonderful. Could hardly stop stuffing our mouths. The Summer Roll was spectacular. Huge, fresh, with a little cooked egg in it. Two sauces, peanut and sweet and sour. Can't say enough. Highly recommend!!!
