My wife and I hadn't been there in a number of years. We had heard that the old chef retired. Well we were wrong to wait so long. The food was esculent and the new menu was much better then before. The service was also extremely good. New choices and a new décor made this visit seem like we had never been before. While we loved Shingo's years ago we fell in love again. Definitely will be going back, and frequently!

My wife (who loves this restaurant) and I returned here with another couple earlier this week. I ordered the only lamb dish on the menu, which was very good and served with a mildly seasoned curry sauce. Since I was not so hungry, I asked to take the majority of my dinner home. The next night when I opened the package to finish the meal, I found that they had not included my left-over meat! All I got were some lonely veggies in the remaining sauce. To say I was displeased would be an understatement. Now I am sure that this was the last time I would return to Lemongrass. My advice is to check your "to go" orders to assure go get everything you are paying for. I feel that they had to know they were leaving out the meat. How can a restaurant get away with this?! Very seldom have I ever felt that I was being ripped off by a restaurant, but this surely was such an experience. And, btw, we have never been offered any specials here on any of our several visits.

I take out from this restaurant probably twice three times a month and the food has been going downhill for the last 3 months at least. But last night's order was the worst. Not only did it take an hour and 15 minutes for delivery but the fried dumplings were delivered without the accompanying sauce, the shrimp lo mein was mushy and watery and the amount of shrimp included was minimalist best, which probably was better off considering it was rubbery. I called the restaurant to explain about the absence of the sauce for the dumplings and they were as interested in my complaint as I was in eating the dumplings without the sauce.I don't know what happened to this restaurant but save your money to go someplace that is not riding on a two-year high of quality that no longer exists, but someplace that CONTINUES to produce excellence in taste, freshness, food preparation and customer service!

Looking to have sushi for lunch with a business associate yesterday, my usual spot was closed for vacation, another resturant I knew of nearby had closed down, so finally the third resturant turned out to be the charm. The first thing we noticed was the upscale decor, second was the high end plateware and most importantly the food. We started with an octopus appetizer which was simply prepare and very fresh. We each ordered one of a number of sushi lunch combinations which came with miso soup and salad with your choice of ginger, miso or peanut dressing. I won't usually order miso soup if there's another soup available, well I had the miso soup and it was by far the best miso soup I have ever eaten. Then there was the selected fish, served artfully and all delicious. We ordered from the lunch menu and left full as the servings were substantial. The rest of the menus had an extensive selection which included organic selections, if that's important to you. One word, AWESOME. Can't wait to take the whole family for dinner. Prices were a bit on the higher side, but well worth it. Don't miss this place.

We decided on Asian carryout and choose Peppermint Thai because it was close and the reviews were good. Portions were large for the Sweet and Sour Chicken and Chicken fried rice. Both were very good with the Chicken Fried Rice being exceptional. We ordered Spring Rolls which were so so. The order was ready when we arrived and the staff was very pleasant. We look forward to trying different dishes.

We had an early meal on New Year's Eve before catching a movie. The atmosphere is very nice and I love the large aquarium you see at the entrance. The appetizers were very good (Thai fresh roll and house salad with peanut dressing). My wife and I both ordered drunken noodles which were delicious. It is normally a spicy dish and I asked them to make it more spicy. It was a little too hot but that was my fault. The standard amount of heat like my wife had is sufficient. After dinner, they brought out a complimentary glass of champagne for each of us. Service was good and I will return.

Kontiki is a trendy restaurant in Wellington, near West Palm Beach. It has a bar and serves sushi, seafood, and a wide range of international and American dishes. Recommended, but you may want to check the menu and prices online before you go.The food was good, and my Grilled Whole Squid was excellent. My wife had the Sea Bass Tataki, which was also very good. I had a bite of my friends Portabella Napoleon and it was very good, as was the few pieces of fatty tuna sushi I tasted from my nephewâs order. The presentation of the dishes was excellent, and in one case spectacular. The décor was flashy, but I particularly enjoyed being seated near the very large saltwater tank with live coral and tropical fish. The clientele was well heeled and young, but despite the music and televisions it was not too loud. The service was excellent, particularly since there were six adults (ages 30 - 67) and a five-year old. The prices were on the high end of what I would expect in Washington, but this was Wellington during polo season and my generous brother insisted on paying. So, who am I to complain?

Of course there are plenty of THAI restaurants in every neighborhood... but trust me, this one is truly for FOODIES! Not just the normal menu every Thai rest has to satisfy the common goer' flavor, but this place challenge themselves with local cuisine that are superb and delicious, even Thai families come often over here to eat their local food. Things to try: Soft skin crabs, duck in garlic, pork... (I don;t recall the name of the dish..., Nat sees me and when is available she says "Dino, we have the pork you like!" And there we go... spoiling me! ;-)

This is a small restaurant in a strip mall in some need of updating. The restaurant interior reveals some of that same need (e.g., needs new ceilings). But, once you taste the food, who really cares? I visited for lunch on my own recently based upon the TripAdvisor reviews, and was glad I did. I wanted to go back the next day for the same lunch but I resisted. I love Thai food and really had not found anything as authentic in this area. I had the Shrimp Panang Curry dish. It was hot and perfectly prepared, from the shrimp (cooked just right) to the vegetables (the exact right vegetable choices to pair with the sauce and also cooked to the perfect crispness) to the rice to the curry sauce (that sauce if why I want to go back already). Good job Amy on such expertly prepared food!
