I have been frequenting this establishment on occasion for many years, and considered it of reasonably decent quality and a good value. I saw neither of those qualities present on my last visit. We arrived at 8:10 on a Sunday evening, 50 minutes before closing. The buffet was so picked over and dried out that there was nearly nothing left, and the staff seemed to re-stock some items, but begrudgingly so, and most items were left as dried out dregs. Certainly not a good value at $10.55!For these reasons, I say good bye to the tired, outdated décor with the bizarre 3D horse mural, the elevator music that seems to bore further through one's skull the longer one stays there, and the very average food. Good bye China Palace! Hello Great Wall and Peking!

Most times when I walk up to the counter in Chinatown Express I am cheerfully greeted by the friendly Asian young woman who takes the phone orders, serves the drive up window, runs the cash register and sometimes zooms back to the kitchen to get pick up or help with an order spring rolls. I especially like the Chicken in Garlic Sauce, but most people say their favorite is General Tso Chicken. The interior dining area is large and probably seats 30 or so but I prefer take out. Delivery is also available within a limited area. Chinatown Express is my favorite restaurant for Asian food in Warsaw. The food is good but the personal and cheerful service makes the difference.

Cigarette butts in the parking lot and few cars should have given me a warning. Scallops were so chewy that I sent them back. Hour and a half later I was sitting on a porcelain throne regretting my decision. Regretted it for four hours after. I think I will stop and call the health department. The dining room looked nice but I will never go back. Waitress was nice but that is not enough. I have to go some where I can keep my food down.

Love the food there. I go back regularly. Décor needs updating and the bathrooms need help! Best egg rolls I've ever had!!!

Love several of their dishes - highly recommend visiting if you have not done so. We will definately visit again.
As always, my wife wrote this for her Facebook friends. It appears I've taken too long a hiatus on writing restaurant reviews, so I've been asked to once again take up the hobby. Today we visited the Asian Cajun Seafood Co. on N. Detroit St. in Warsaw, IN. This fine restaurant is housed in the former Redwood Firewood (The Viewpoint prior to that) structure overlooking Center Lake. Being of an Asian-Cajun fusion persuasion the menu items are quite diverse and unique. We started our meal with crab rangoons. For our entrees Scott chose the Korean Barbeque Noodle with Chicken and I went for the Chicken Curry. The crab rangoons offered at Asian Cajun cannot be rivaled by any dining establishment in N.E. Indiana! The creamy filling was sweet with crabmeat and lightly seasoned inside a very light, not-to-crispy fried wonton. I know my description sounds like everyone else's rangoon, but trust me. You have to try them to believe them! Korean Barbeque Noodle is unique unto itself. It starts with udon noodles topped with a blend of Korean and American barbecue sauces. It then gets the royal treatment from the customer's choice of beef, shrimp or chicken cooked with beans sprouts in a mild sauce heaped over the noodles and heavily sprinkled with sesame seeds. Amazingly this dish does not take on an unsettling color or flavor from the barbeque sauces, but rather it has a hearty, beautiful hue and taste beyond explanation except by saying it's fabulous! The Chicken Curry was prepared in a red curry-coconut milk broth with green beans, carrots, & yellow onion presented in a deep crockery bowl with Jasmine Rice on the side. Now, I've had curry dishes in many Asian and Indian eateries but this one has a flavor all on its own that I can only relate as having a lovely bouquet that dances on the pallet. Although the coconut milk was perceivable it did not dominate the dish as it sometimes can. I would be remiss if i failed to mention the excellent service. Our server, Conner, is TOP NOTCH in the business of helping people feel welcome and comfortable about their menu choices. Being one-half Cambodian he's recommended we try the Pho with Chicken or Shrimp on our next visit, telling it's the comfort food he grew up with. And, you know what? We just may take him up on his suggestion! You're probably wondering where the Cajun and Seafood opportunities come into play. There are plenty to choose from but they'll have to wait for our future returns. FYI: This moderately priced establishment offers a full bar including a wide variety of craft beers, outdoor seating, and plenty of ambiance!
