Iâm not saying this because itâs my mates dads restaurant but they genuinely took a traditional Indian restaurant, and got the imperfections of a traditional restaurant and perfected them. Because I knew the gaffers son they hooked us up and it was the best experience I ever hadThe waiter was sooooo chill and was just a G. Also I ordered a king prawn korma and the prawns were as big as the traditional chicken slices which are huge and also the presentation of the food and tables was so nice! Like all the best Indian restaurants it filled me up to the perfect amount. They gave us an after eight after the meal and the spicy popadom sauce (which I usually avoid) was the perfect amount of spice for me because I usually try the spicy sauce for a new restaurant and everyone was happy and beaming. The only downside was the wait for the food was a little long but thatâs expected for a popular restaurant. If your looking for a nice Indian restaurant go to golden moments because it is one of if not the best restaurants I have ever tried. I have to complain thereâs no 6 star or 7 star because itâs so good.

Had a small takeaway meal of goat biryani and had a free curry sauce to go with it. All I can say is that it was very tasty and so was the curry. The small lady who took my order was very pleasant too and had a missive smile. This is the second time I've been here now and both times I've been impressed. Mixed grill is also nice and don't taste the same, all meats on the dish have different flavours. Would highly recommend

My friend and I eat here every first Monday in the month and we wouldn't want to go anywhere else. The restaurant is clean and comfortable and the food is superb, delicious every time, it never wavers and is excellent value for money. The staff are just lovely, so friendly and funny and, as regular customers for the last 2 years, we really feel at home.Compliments to all the staff - you're great!

Five Rivers facilitated a party of 40+ guests for my wifeâs 40th birthday. From start to finish, managers Hamza and Jason were highly professional and made preparations for the night easy and small but important details such as place cards were executed exactly as requested. Head waiter Aman was extremely friendly and responsive to all requests. All guests commented on the ambience of the restaurant, the high quality food and left having had a great night. Needless to say my wife had a big smile on her face at the end of the night, which staff at the restaurant played no small part in. Thanks to all at Five Rivers for a memorable night, weâll definitely (And I dare say some of our guests) will eat there again. Hi Mosaique05,Thank you for choosing to celebrate your wife's special occasion with us, your compliments about the food and service are greatly appreciated. Our team members will be delighted to hear of your positive feedback, we look forward to welcoming you back once again.

I went to this restaurant in September with my family, staff and the manager could not have been any more helpful, they were extremely welcoming and attentive. I was really excited to try different dishes due to amazing reviews on this website, I must say the quality and texture of the food wasn't anything like described in the reviews. It was sub-standard, to put it mildly. We had to return the butter chicken dish- it was just so sweet and characterless, to their credit they gave us another dish which wasn't particularly good. Either we were extremely unlucky to have such a bad food experience or something not right about the reviews. I would happily give 5/5 for hospitality, it can't justify any more than 2/5 for taste. I simply unsure if ours was an isolated incident- i hope that is the case-I was bitterly disappointed.
