Had lunch here and just loved their authentic Thai dishes. Very friendly staff and yummy food. Small restaurant with a massage place but the best Thai food in Port Vila. Really liked the pawpaw salad. Must for all Thai food lovers. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

Located in the same street as Aquamarine Dive centre
Per previous reviewer, we really didn't know what to expect when you first sight the place from the street, however when you first walk inside you are pleasantly surprised by the clean quaint ambience and friendly manager. So much wonderful food to choose from, however, we went for some share dishes; the chicken, beef and the best dish of all the smokey bbq port....wow what a taste sensation! I loved it so much I chased the manager's mother (head chef) into the kitchen to give her a great hug....Such a great time we had. Very much recommend this restaurant.

Pad Thai Restaurant near numbawan cafe at seafront port Vila we Origin Thai foods we signature is Pad Thai
The variety and tastiness of the dishes offered was great. There was also extra spice you could add, that made my husband happy. For about $25 USD, you get a very filling meal (including 3 different desserts). I won't go into detail on the dishes offered, since they probably change each week. For drinks, the Mai Tais were great, as was the coffee with Bailey's, but the Margarita was "horrid" (my husband's word). Service was average.

When we walked in we were instantly captivated by the stunning view, which was unexpected from the entrance. My 15 year old selected Kanpai to celebrate his birthday as we all love Asian cuisines and fresh food - boy did this place tick both boxes. We enjoyed the chef special entrees and could barely fit the generous Japanese boxes and salmon dishes in! The boys even managed a green tea ice cream and us a liquid dessert. The soft shell crab is to die for

Now if it was up to me I would almost never choose Chinese for dinner, but I was outvoted 3/1. The food here was better than any Chinese I have had in Australia. The lady running it has run it for decades so she is doing something right. The honey prawns and honey chicken were delicious. The beef in Chinese style was really good too. The fried rice tasted like it was cooked on a well seasoned wok, it wasnât to my liking so much but I could appreciate the flavour of it. The price is pretty good and was almost half of the price of spices Indian on the other side of town. We got take away but the view from the restaurant was really nice and would be good to get there early and watch the sunset.

Ripples on the Bay, Vanuatu, is a small, four room resort and weekend restaurant, located on beautiful Teouma Bay, a twenty five minute drive out of Vanuatu's capital, Port Vila. Our restaurant has a small but varied menu, and is open to the public for lu
Had drinks and appetizers at sunset. The setting is great for sunset. The specialty drinks were very good but a bit pricey. The shrimp triangles were really delicious and highly recommend trying them. The other appetizers were good.Dear worldtravellerruth11,Thanks for taking the time to write this review of Ripples, and thanks for coming to visit us. Those prawn (shrimp) triangles are perennially popular with our guests. When you mention specialty drinks, I guess you mean cocktails, and the reason that they are so good is that we use only premium name spirits and liqueurs, and fresh ingredients (lime, coconut, mango, etc.), to make them. You'll find that prices are on a par with other restaurant/bars in Vanuatu,All the best,Sally

Iâve never been let down by the food here.Getting a little expensive nowadays. $46aud for 2 dishes.Still the best place to eat around the waterfront area.Matt from blue marlin should send his cook to work here for a few weeks, might learn to taste his food before he sends it.
