Six of us was there for dinner. We had a variety of food and the service was great. The music was different and a little loud. It was hard to hear the person 2 seats down. I like the extra space for more tables they have now. I never had a bad meal here. Thanks for being in town.

Upon entering, we were asked, "are you here to pick up?" We explained we wanted a table. The restaurant was a bit smaller with limited seating, however the service was excellent. My friend and I ordered lobster rolls after the waitress explained they were large.....and they were delicious.
This is a great takeout place. The food is great. Love the Generals Chicken as well as the Egg Rolls. The staff are very friendly as well. My mom lives in Morganton and eats here regularly. I try to eat here whenever I'm in town and craving Chinese food, especially at night since they're open decently late.

In this case it's all about timing. Go at the wrong time and you get cold and nasty food. Go at the right time and you get hot and fresh food. Pretty good selections. But first time there it was great and the place was packed. Second time there is was about 7PM and it was like a completely different place. I was by myself the first time. Bragged to my wife and took her the next time. She says we ain't going back. Maybe I can convince her to try it when it is like 6PM. But most of the buffets are that way. They keep the food there long after it's shelf life. And that is a problem to me. And when they were of out sweet and sour chicken all that was left was tepid hard fragments. So in this case I believe it is timing is everything......
