Very good service. This was our first time dining here period the staff provided us with some good vegetarian options and ensured that they would not contain seafood or eggs. We had a vegetarian miso soup and vegetarian stir fry noodles. It was very good. The portions were good as well.

Our local favorite Japanese restaurant. Favorite rolls/sashimi include - Super Lion King, SF giants, A's, rainbow, and chirashi,The staff and suishi chefs are welcoming and very accommodating to their guests. Suishi bar and tv's scattered in restaurant for sports buffs but volume low enough to carry on a conversation. Complimentary extras may include - edamame, calamari ringlets, gyoza, side of salmon (depending upon order amount and eating frequency), and the best green tea ice cream.

I visited Thailand this year for several weeks. I was hoping to have the same dish I have come to love at Sala Thai. Unfortunately, I never found a restaurant that serves this amazing dish, so I had to wait to come back to Fremont to enjoy it!! What is this awesome dish?! The duck curry- a red curry with duck, pineapple and peppers. I just went to get my fill again yesterday and it didnât disappoint. The flavors blend so well together, I donât know why this dish isnât a national treasure. I am not one for pineapple in or on my food, but I love the bites of sweetness in the savory curry sauce. The duck is tender and adds a good flavor and the peppers also work in the mixture. I did have a few bits of duck gristle, so be careful when eating, but overall it was heavenly. The other dishes Iâve had are also good. I love the tang of their Larb, the smoothness of the yellow curry and the various rice dishes and pad Thai are great.

Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot is a restaurant specializing in Mongolian style hot pot dining. With a series of spices and ingredients in our original soup base recipe, our flavorful broth is sure to satisfy every single one of your taste buds. The highes
This place went under renovation and just reopened last Thursday. We really like Little Sheep and have had good prior experiences at this location and at the Cupertino location. Our party of 3 went there this past Monday to check out the new place, and we are quite disappointed over all.1) The new decor is nice, more modernistic, quite roomy. There is a separated area for a large party of around 8-10 people in the back. plenty of booth. They allow individual pot now, big communal pot is still an option. There is also a little appetizer / snack bar near the back (the waiter didn't tell us about it, I found it on my way to the restroom) which has cantaloupe, tomatoes, cucumber salad etc. The salad bar was not refilled during our time dining there.2) The induction burner emits a really high pitch noise, if the burner is turned to the highest setting. It was enough to make my husband feel nauseated. We ate our whole meal using 2nd / 3rd highest setting. It is not just our burner too, we heard it from the surrounding tables as well.3) Price - a jump from the old price. An average increase of $1 per item from the old menu price. Size also seems to be smaller. There is no more AYCE option, all a la carte. 4) Food - we actually found the food to be about the same quality as before. The broth tastes the same. We ordered the New Zealand spring lamb (would recommend), garlic beef, mushroom platter with additional shiitake and enoki, napa cabbage, their house meat ball platter, tofu skin, etc. The garlic beef was stringy and unpleasant. Other items were on average / above average quality. 5) Service - Need significant improvement. We had to wave somebody down for water, broth, check, checking orders, etc. I had to remind someone twice just to get a glass of water refilled. This is all while the restaurant isn't full.I hope this is only due to it being opening week and the staff is still not familiar with the setting, but we ended up being quite angry with the lack of service.I don't see us returning any time soon.

I have eaten here before but I was quite disappointed today. My biggest concern was that the rice was not properly cooked. It had been made with too much water and was gooey. I actually like eating plain j-rice but this rice was just no good. That carried over into the sushi that my wife had (california roll from the bento) which was also gooey. It was also very irregular in shape (square ones and round ones, medium sized one and large ones) that I seriously wonder about the skill of the sushi chef. The tempura was not crisp. It appeared that it had been put into oil that was not hot enough and so absorbed oil into the food. Tonkatsu was very crisp. In fact it was so crisp that when they cut it, the breading fell off of the pork and it ended up with about half of the breading just lying on top op the pork. All in all, not a good effort.

We've been using this family Sushi shop for over 10 years now. They have a rabid fan base and it is always top notch preparation for their dishes. It's small inside, reminding me very much of an authentic Japanese restaurant. Parking really is tough around dinner hour because of the small lot and several food shops in the strip mall. I would not try to go there on a Friday or Saturday evening as your first visit. Although they are very attentive and accommodating, the size makes it hard to enjoy the true ambiance of a nice family shop. Otherwise, the sushi itself is a really good take out option. On busy nights, It might be helpful if someone can drop you off long enough to pick up your take out order and just drive around until you re-emerge with you feast.

My husband and I have tried several sushi establishments in the Tri-City area, and Satomi is our go-to place. They have 2 locations, one on Thornton and one on Mowry. The Mowry location is the better if the two, we think. They are always busy on weekends and come prepare to wait a while. Tables do move fairly quick. The service is very hit or miss, your food may come out in bizarre order, they may even mess up your order, but their fish is always fresh here. They do have some specials from time to time, so do ask the servers. However, don't expect them to know the prices of those specials. It is a family and kids friendly place, with fresh fish and plenty of cooked items to choose from for those who are not a fan of raw stuff.

I have dinner at Simply Thai every couple months while I am staying at the Courtyard Marriott on business. It is consistently good. The food is fresh, made to order and very flavorful. The service is prompt and friendly and prices are very reasonable. It is a busy place but I never have a problem getting a table. I've had a few larger group dinners here. This seems to overwhelm them sometimes if you have >10 people but all in all it is still a viable option for larger groups.

We really enjoyed the food, and our service was excellent! Even though it was a busy night they fit us in at the bar. We ordered the fried shrimp and some crab legs. Came back a couple of days later and got the same :)
