We were walking past and as we are both shabushi lovers we thought we would give it a whirl. Very fresh ingredients and plenty of them all prepared and ready to cook in your own pot of boiling tom yum. The price is also very good, it worked out at about £7 each which when you consider there is as much sushi, tempura and rice to accompany your shabushi as you can eat represents excellent value. I recommend this restaurant highly if you're this way.

I had passed The Smiling Frog many times without stopping, but today the Lady boss said hello as I walked past so I decided to pop in. I am glad I did, service was very prompt and the menu had a good range of Western and Thai foods. Today I went for the beef strips in garlic and peppers and a side order of steamed rice. Food arrived quickly and looked delicious and indeed tasted very nice, the beef was cooked to perfection and was of a high standard. They had no other customers which I thought strange. It is certainly a restaurant I will use again. Restaurant is immaculately clean .

I lived in France for 7 years. So, good food and comfortable places are hard to find for me. PFALZ restuarant is a exception.Although standard fair, everything made here is good. German themed cuisine but cook makes many interesting dishes, American, Europeon, Thai food and nice place for the afternoon beer. Usually full of expats for afternoon beers. People are friendly, customers and restuarant staff alike. German, Danish, Swedish, Holland, Suisee ex pats all spend time here. The owner Ludwig is a great host,.originally from Southern Germany. His Thai wife and her 2 sisters pretty much run the place, Lost of humor with those ladys. Youll feel relaxed and welcome.About 30% less in price than other more known places on the same street. Ive gone back since day 1 visit.Never dissapointed. Open air restaurant, comfortable and nice ambience. Brost !!

Guys, you must bring your girlfriend or wife! This is the most romantic setting for a sunset ever. You'll swear you're in Hawaii as you watch the sun go down over the lake, the live band playing just above you. Great food too- and not expensive!

We have been dining regularly at MK restaurants for years. This is our local MK and is the one we visit most frequently. Although it is situated adjecent to a Tesco Lotus supermarket, we make a special trip to visit the restaurant. We usually go at lunch time mid week as the restaurant is a little bit less busy then.

They have a great selection of beer and wine, The Chef Talented and gifted, his dishes are extraordinarily delicious, and put together with mindful thought and experience. The prices are very reasonable, the staff is super friendly and the decor is very tasteful. Great restaurant in Udon Thani

Conveniently open all afternoon so we stopped in twice for late lunch mid afternoon. Outstanding dishes were a cheap and very tast rice with chicken curry and an unusual wing bean salad. The only dish I wouldnât order again is the chicken wings in wine sauce. A flabby braised dish.

This Vietnamese dish was a delight. It's everywhere and you can buy it at the airport to bring home too! Advice: you have to check it in, cannot carry it on. They opened a whole plaza dedicated to this and even has a drive through order.

It was with great anticipation that we entered the Chefâs Table as we had heard it was supposed to be a new great restaurant, in fact Udon Thaniâs best western restaurant. The restaurant certainly looked promising in its modern simple but functional design. The menu was equally impressive with a lot of mouthwatering western dishes, most of them reasonably priced. And with the chefâs and ownerâs impressive CV it looked set for success. We started with French Onion soup. This turned out to be a perfect choice. Itâs definitely one of best I have had anywhere. Good rich taste with perfectly baked cheese on top, and the bread of right size and texture. Definitely a dish to come back for.For main dish I chose a French Bouillabaisse soup. I know that ordering seafood in UD could be a challenge, but this restaurant looked to be up to it. But here I donât know what went wrong. It was beautifully served in a large soup bowl. The soup itself had a peculiar taste to it, but maybe this was the chefâs personal style. But when it came to the fish, this is where it went all downhill. The fish in a Bouillabaisse should have a fresh taste with a nice texture. The fish in my bowl looked very sad, being boringly grey with stale taste and no texture whatsoever. The rest of the seafood was just OK without being exciting.I really hope that this was a onetime failure, as I believe that UD need a restaurant of this type. I also believe that the chef with his CV should be able to deliver. Just need to pay more attention to quality control.
