We were driving back to the Portland area from Port Angeles after taking the Coho from Victoria and we were starving.... We were surprised to find this lovely pho restaurant right off the highway... Extremely friendly, helpful proprietress. Decent pho -- a bit Americanized. The owner made up some tendon when I asked about it. A great alternative to the usual fare when you're passing through!

This one and the Happy Teriyaki on College in Lacey are the best in the area (yes, my opinion). There are several other restaurants that serve teriyaki, each chef/location has their own teriyaki sauce recipe, it's one of the traits that set them apart from each other, makes them unique. I knew the 'founder' of this particular chain, and have eaten at most in the area. I love College and Pacific's 'sauce' and find it perfect, not overwhelming with salt. Family / business favorites here are the Lunch specials, the yakisoba presentations and the love bowl YUMMY!!! I've used Happy Teriyaki for business luncheons (take-out) over the years and have always received positive comments with requests for repeats. Call ahead, and it'll be ready when you get there -- MOST of the time, there's so much food in the lunch special, that I take 1/2 home for another meal -- under $7.00 - talk about value!! Oh, and their miso soup is to die for!

You have to look for this place, the address is slightly misleading, go into the parking lot behind the business buildings, the entrance is back there. Impeccably clean restaurant. The Pho' was flavorful which I really appreciate, the broth had a good blend of flavors instead of the very blah broth that is sometimes passed off as Pho', I had the chicken (Ga) and it had a generous portion of meat, and plenty of basil which I very much appreciate. The only minus I could give would be that it was served with a wedge of lemon instead of lime. I understand that the cost of limes has increased quite dramatically but I would have appreciated having a squeeze of lime. I had the small bowl and ended up with some to take home with me.A wide variety of choices is offered on the menu and I will be returning to try a few more things. I went early for lunch and the place was empty, by 11:30 the take out trade was going strong and by the time I left there were quite a few customers. Enjoy!
Acoustics need work. I live 6 blocks away and do Take out. Yum Their curry's are very tasty. Pad Thai my favorite Atmosphere - The noise volume is stifling. If they made some changes inthere acoustics I would eat in as opposed to out..
We love to go to Koibito for sushi and other Japanese and Korean dishes. My husband always get the Sakura Special with the spicy tuna and I get a custom made maki roll with cucumber and cream cheese. The staff is excellent and super sweet. The food always comes out in a timely manner and is always fresh and delicious. The complimentary miso soup is awesome too. We love this place!

Our group of 10 visited for lunch. Although we had reservations they were not prepared for our arrival. It was loud, our waitress seemed overwhelmed and forgot several things. One member of our party didnât get their meal until the rest of us were over halfway done. My noodles were overcooked. Nuff said.

Walked in after eight on a Saturday without reservations. Luckily they had a nice table available, which began a spectacular evening. We asked about an unfamiliar wine and the waiter explained its flavor profile in detail. The fabulous wine accompanied their wild boar pasta, which was delicious. We enjoyed the meal so much we splurged on dessert, a panna cotta with seasonal berries. Excellent staff and pleasant decor made the great food and wine even more special. Will return next time we're in Olympia.
