Restaurant convivial qui sert une carte variée et restreinte avec des produits frais . Toutes les cuissons des plats se font à la plancha. Une spécialité de Super Saladier garnies de Salade/pommes sautées et poissons ou viande au choix. Le tout dans une a
Wonderful food, very good service. We went twice and had three different meals, plat du jour and two from the list beef and salmon salad, coffee, two different ice creams and strawberries. All was wonderful and the very busy waiter still had time to exchange a few words and joke with my 11-year-old.hello, glad to have received you in our restaurant, hoping to see you again.

This is an update of my original review from June 2011. Had dinner at Banthai last night and the food is even better than we remembered. We eat there every time we're in Toulon and it's no wonder why as the food is amazing and the service is friendly. The restaurant is located in the Barbès area of Toulon, which is not right downtown. The decor is typical of most Thai restaurants: photos and statues of Buddha and wooden ornaments. There is outdoor seating available, consisting of a couple tables, but the restaurant is on a busy street. We usually sit indoors. You can order typical Thai dishes such as red, green or yellow curries, pad thai, tom yum soup, etc. but why not ask the server to help you chose a new dish. This is a family-owned and operated restaurant. They take the time to explain the ingredients of each dish and you can be sure that all ingredients are fresh. They will also prepare all dishes to your liking: spicy or not.To start off, we had the salade de papaye (papaya salad) for â¬8 and the salade de mangue (mango salad) for â¬7. Both were light and tasty. Portions are large and we could have shared one salad between the two of us but we were feeling greedy for authentic Thai food last night. We ordered two main courses: poulet au basilic, which was not on the menu but they prepared it for us anyway (finely diced chicken with coriander, sweet red peppers sautéed in a wok, served on a bed of fragrant, white rice and with a fried egg on the side) and a sizzling, hot plate of poulet aux aubergines (#46 on the menu: wok-fried chicken and slices of eggplant). The latter had a very savoury sauce and I had to stop myself from licking the hotplate. The vegetables in the mains were crispy and cooked just right. For dessert, we had the riz au banane (sweet, sticky rice with a coconut sauce served in a banana leaf) and nems au chocolat (chocolate-filled spring rolls) served with a scoop of ice cream. Both desserts were â¬5 each. Dinner for two with 2 beers and a large bottle of sparkling water came to â¬60 with tax and tip. There are two small parking lots near the restaurant. We reserved a table as the restaurant is small and fills up quickly.

Hubby and I went to Avyna whilst on holidays and we were not disappointed! Beautiful, freshly made Thai food! Restaurant appears to attract alot of local regular customers, which is a good sign! Owners keep the place running with hubby as host and wife preparing beautiful food in the kitchen....very reasonably priced. Defo worth a visit!

While exploring the town of Toulon we discovered a small, but delightful restaurant along a back alley. Once inside - the owner had six tables and a fantastic smell of familiar Thai cooking. I had Pad Thai with Shrimp and loved every bit. My wife had beef salad and enjoyed that as well. Traveling from USA for two weeks we found this a taste of familiar in a sea of new tastes around France.

Lovely little (emphasis on the little - book in advance on busy nights!) retaurant that offers very good sushi. The beers on offer are also very interesting - one of which I had not encountered before. They also do takeaway very rapidly too. Definitely the best sushi restaurant I have visited in Toulon.

When you enter the restaurant, it is âspeciousâ meaning cathedral size with modern lighting, not really romantic but functional. It is an all-you-can-eat restaurant Asia style with at least 30+ different dishes. Drinks not included.Dishes are buffet style, small plates so it gets refreshed often (no dish hanging around for hours). Main focus was the main dishes so not many salads and other starters.Seperate wok and grill section where you can mix raw ingredients (meat, fish, vegetables) and hand it to the chef. After specifying which of the 5 sauces you want, it gets grilled or prepared on the wok to your liking.Kipnuggets and fries for the kids if they do not fancy the Asian tastes. Nothing that we had was too spicey. Service was friendly and quick, it was not busy when we visited on Friday evening around 19:30hrs.
