Unfortunately the food at this restaurant is as bad as the decor which is as bad as the clueless waiters. Feeling as if we were stuck in 1982 this restaurant really has nothing worthy to offer. The entree of chicken corn soup was so tasteless that even half a bottle of soy sauce didn't help, and the fried dim sims were a bit confusing as they arrived battered...!The mains of Singapore noodles and Mongolian beef didn't help the cause. They were tasteless, cluggy & were defiantly flavoured with artificiall powdered MSG thickener. If you're hungry in Torquay it's highly recommended you order a pizza or pop into the supermarket and get a roast chicken, as this place is neither satisfying nor worth the prices they charge.

Had take away tonight. Had massaman, entrees bread and rice. Entrees were good, The curry puff was particularly good and the satay sticks wee good. But bread was terrible, dr not locally made. Massaman was very good and service from delivery driver was good as well

Cafe El Nido offers a brilliant menu with really creative, delicious and incredible food! Their location is away from herds or tourists, and has a really good vibe. Worlds most friendly staff, not to mention amazing coffee.Don't waste a minute, get in there!

Definitely not genuine Thai food.How anyone can rate this restaurant as excellent is beyond me!Basic mixed Asian food of barely acceptable quality and I'm surprised that people are unable to be discerning about what constitutes good food.Excellent service,no problem there but the food leaves a lot to be desired.

Had lunch with my wife. The place is surprisingly decorated as from outside it looks dark and unappealing. Inside very Japanese with big tables small tables and bar chairs. It was full of locals with great staff. The food was small but beautiful. The sashimi was perfect and so were the tofu fries. The chicken rice dish was a little dry. A lovely place to visit.

Everything was lovely. Service with a smile. No fuss being seated without s booking. Decor nice. Offers T/A but pick ups not intrusive to those eating in. Food was nicely presented and flavoursome. Generous servings. Takeaway container available on request. I suggest you book a table. We went on a Wednesday night. So good we had takeaway later in our holiday. Everything was great them and cooked on time.
