We had package B which had favourites such as Mongolian lamb and beef with black bean sauce. The honey chicken, and sweet and sour pork were very uninspiring for me as they appeared to be âbatteredâ chunks with sauce in the bottom of the container - no veggies in those dishes. The fried rice wasnât any larger than the other dishes and was on the cold side. The prawn chips were missing and when we called back they were having a busy evening with promises of next time. Enough food for 4 adults but 2 out of 4 werenât inspired.

As we sat down before we had taken our coats off the menus were thrust upon us. We had an early booking so we wouldn't be rushed, two minutes later the waiter was there to take our order, we requested a little more time and asked for some wine glasses. He returned very quickly with the glasses and order pad so we said a few more minutes. We placed our order for the entrees and said we would make our selection for mains while they prepared the entrees. When the entrees came, pork spring roll and curry puffs, both were very average. We decided to have a seafood dish for our main but were advised no seafood that night (which was a Saturday) which took out a third of the menu choices on a very limited menu. We again studdied the menu to select our main dish and settled for a spicey chicken dish and as no seafood we decided to have a beef fried rice, and requested that we have a gap between entree a main meal, to which he said oh it will be a while as we are cooking take away now. As we ate our entree the waiter came back 4 times to see if he could serve our mains we said no we are still eating. He cleared away the plates and said are you ready now, we said no we want a few minutes in between, he hovered around so in the end we said ok. The meals came and were wrong we had chicken in both dishes, he said oh no worries we made a mistake but didn't offer to change anything. The fried rice was dry and undercooked and the spicey dish was nice and spicey but very salty. As we ate the staff started to clear all the tables around us, then the waiter came wearing his coat to see if he could clear the table!! The time wasn't even 8pm!! We won't be returning it was a sheer waste of money, terrible food, no service and absolutely no atmosphere.

Went for dinner at 5.30pm on Friday. It took 40 minutes for two of our three entrees to arrive. The spring Rolls and wontons were good but not great Third entree of steamed dim sims arrived 20 minutes later, they were very small, and again good but not great. While we were eating the dim sims one of our main courses arrived. The Singapore noodles were virtually just that huge serve of "noodles" with a few tiny prawns and very few vegetables, $20 for what tasted worse than instant noodles. The noodles were left sitting on the table virtually untouched after our first taste. After another wait of 15 minutes our roast duck arrived, we were really hungry by this time. The duck had been recommended by the waitress but it was nothing like we had imagined, it was overcooked, tough and extremely dry. We ate what we could but could not finish this dish either.I have now been ill for two days, I believe it was something that I ate here as I had nothing else but a banana throughout the day and woke in the early hours of the next morning feeling really ill.The focus here seems to be on take away. In our experience, dine in customers were not given the service that you would normally get even in a half decent restaurant. The wait staff were lovely but did nothing when we explained that the main courses were virtually inedible. We did not even complain about the disjointed service. We will never go back to or recommend this restaurant to anyone else, in all conscience we simply couldn't.Sorry to hear about your experience with us. I can assure you that our food is cooked fresh to order, within the regulated guidelines. We love hearing when our customers leave happy with the food and service, so weâre saddened to read this review. Thank you though for letting us know your thoughts.Should you change your mind, weâd only be too happy to prepare meals on the house.Hope you are feeling better.

We went for dinner, service was very quick, food came out really fast even though there were a lot of patrons. We had satay chicken entree, sweet and sour pork and lemon chicken with rice.We had to doggie bag some there was so much.with two drinks $70 so not the cheapest but very filling. All in all we were happy with the meal.

We ate here a couple of times last week, and was very pleasantly surprised. Whilst certainly not the cheapest Thai restaurant you may go to, we found that the food was terrific. Sauces had flavour, and meats tender. Friendly staff and owner. The business has a large takeaway, which is their main priority, so service in the restaurant side not great but the food justifies the visit.

Coming from Melbourne I am used to top quality Japanese food. What I had here was rather ordinary - not exciting and not bad but with an extremely limited selection of four dishes. It was disappointing to order Japanese tea ($4.00) only to find it comes in a paper cup with a tea-bag. When you eat in why should food be served in a take away container with plastic cutlery. The chef/owner of this restaurant has been feted as a top chef and I fail to understand why this is not reflected in the standard of this restaurant.

Dined inside rather than ordering a take away menu. Handy location opposite the Esplanade. Good menu selection which arrived promptly and very hot. Generous serving and very tasty. Prices were very reasonable and take away container provided for what we could not eat. Would definitely recommend.

We are a BYO alcohol restaurant serving quality, tasty Asian food. Our menu has influences predominantly from China and Malaysia.
What a find this little gem of a restaurant was! It's tucked away, has simple but immaculate decor, a very casual vibe and absolutely sensational food. We loved that we could bring our own drinks and enjoy them with the fabulous dishes on offer. The staff were warm and welcoming and everything we ordered was top notch. I can highly recommend seeking 2 Ducks out.

Family owed for more than 24 years
We were not very impressed with the food. First time here wasnât to sure what to expect the rice and omelet were quite nice, the short soup was bland and the deep fried pork was over cooked and hard. Wonât be going back again Iâm afraid
