There are many restaurants in Philippines that we Europeans do not know sp good, and that is charming to walk into a totally unknown restaurant and test the food. But sometimes I want to go somewhere I really know what they will serve me and Gerry's is one of them. New restaurant in SM, Tarlac and I had Beef Kaldereta. This is one of my favourite dishes when I am in Philippines because the beef usaually have high quality. There are not much fat and the same with bones. Gerry's in SM tarlac didn't disappoint me. Good food, good quality and I was satisfied.
eating there is like eating in your own home but being attended well. they serve local and western dishes, but i prefer those like home-cooked meals. the food taste very good. well, the ambiance is really cozy and "homely" since it is originally a two-story house made of wood (traditional style) then converted to a restaurant. cost of food is more expensive compared to other food establishments.
Probably the most famous chicken restaurant in the Philippines. It draws a good crowd, many families and gatherings. I was a visitor at a Rotary meeting attended by about 25 people. My personal opinion is that the food, while good, has small servings. If you are hungry, order the regular chicken plate, not the spring chicken which is very small. You might also try their desserts; some excellent choices there.

I saw the reviews on several online sites and decided to drop in after visiting a local monastery. There was plenty of parking as most visitors seem to live close by or take public transport. The decor was decent and tastefully done. The menus were simple thick paper, parchment like with no protective covering so they were a touch ratty. Perhaps that was intended. The drinks came out quickly and were all good. The food came out not much longer. The hot wings were great, the pizza not so much. The family did enjoy the Japanese salad.Unlike many starbucks locations where the local populace tends to talk at the top of their lungs, the people in this venue were all keeping their voices down.Wifey did comment that the bathroom was a touch narrow which means something as she is not very big at all.All in all it was an enjoyable experience.

I recommend this place especially for Lunch. The Food was really great. :) i love their kare-kare and kampukan.. The best :) <3 Must Try!
The place is in need of more renovation and modernization, but the saving grace would be the warm, hospitable, helpful staff and its cleanliness.I think the hotel has potential to be better, if the management paid more attention to detail. For one, there was no door greeter. There were still left-over red strips of crepe paper attached to thumbtacks on the wall, from who knows how many events ago; they were using tattered, very visible, green nylon string to open the lock on one of the function room main doors; the knob of the door was falling off and was attached with clear, packing tape; the white chair coverings, again while clean and washed, is already showing signs of age; no paint peelings as the place does look like itâs been re-painted; the new aircon is hidden while the old but still working aircons look like theyâve been battered for years and have survived a flash flood with some yellowed paneling falling apart already. The projector we rented was fairly new. There are a few cracks on the floor; but the caféâs décor tiles look new and the pattern is neat and pretty. The bathroom for the handicapped had no toilet roll holder or toilet paper; but the female washrooms did, with a mirror that is also in need of replacing ( it has the black spots that come with age ).The food could also be better â Maja club was ok , but again could be better if they used better bread. I liked their Dinamite and chips but their chili con carne tasted more like the Filipino sweet spaghetti sauce. The taste of their grilled chicken was good but it was tough. And their buttered veggies seemed to be the frozen type, but it had the taste of butter instead of being blanched so I was alright with it.Last of all, was our Account Executive who was very accommodating and chill, though I wish she would answer her phone more promptly as she seems to leave it elsewhere, and there have been a few errors that caused delays in our transaction, but I would overall recommend her and am very grateful for her service. She has always informed me of when she had to go on leave and has always tried her best to fulfill our requirements. The technicians and servers were also professional and on-hand.I would also recommend this hotel, despite itâs hiccups. I think if more people used it, more income would flow in and they would use the profit to renovate. It already feels like theyâre renovating what they can when they can, which is great.

They were featured in the "Ang Pinaka Yummy in Tarlac" (a show in GMA News TV) listing in 2016, and I think they really deserved to be included in that listing. We selected from their choices of platters, a group meal good for 4 to 5 persons. We ordered the Batanes platter consisting of "crispy pata", fried chicken, chopsuey, "sinigang na hipon", "Daing na bangus" and garlic rice for just the price of PHP 1,500.00, a very good deal indeed. They have big servings that's why we got a lot to take out. Check out this restaurant when you happen to be in Tarlac, it's worth trying it.

The food was delicious, pricing is reasonable for the amount of food served. Their blended coffee drinks are so good itâs comparable to starbucks. Service by the crew are commendable. Ambience and scenery great for get togethers. Overall, my family and I had a wonderful time dining at cafe Isabela. Will definitely recommend it to others.
