Wasn't impressed at all! I had high hopes when I got here by the variety of food but was majorly disappointed. My friend & I shared dishes. I ordered the pad tai and he ordered a curry. (Don't remember which exactly) by far the worst pad tai I've ever had!!! & the curry wasn't any better. Won't be coming back

Mandolin has good food and probably overly generous portions. The chicken was tender and delicious and stacked almost three inches high. The mountain of fried rice had a bit of a smoky sweet taste to it and the way-better-than-average side of salad that came with the meals included shreds of carrot, and slices of cucumber and radish. A mix of iceberg and green lettuce made for a healthy crunch too.

A romantically lighted and quaint cafe, Silk Thai boasts traditional Thai food in a beautiful setting. Order off the regular menu, or indulge in one of the seasonal specialties and enjoy as your taste buds are transported to a world away.
It's my Dad's fault. He generally pics not-so-great places to eat. He loves, for example, the incredibly mediocre El Toro mexican (ahem!) place down the street. So while my expectations were not high, my mood after dinner was.Best salad rolls I've ever had. Fresh, delicious, bordering on perfection. Spicy Fish dish was another winner. The Asparagus Lover with chicken was simply sauced yet full of flavor.Fun atmosphere, a bit slow on the service, but overall pleasant experience. Would gladly go back, again.

THEKOI is Tacoma's destination spot for high end Japanese Cuisine. Established in 2006, THEKOI has been one of the landmark of downtown Tacoma and known and rated for one of the most romantic dine out restaurant.
Came on a Weds night with a colleague. Busy but not crowded. Dining room is accessible thanks to a ramp.Service was outstanding. Friendly, efficient, just really pleasant. Delicious food with a large variety of sushi and sashimi. We started with fried chicken pieces that were crisp and freshly made. Shiso tacos are very tasty, in a tempura batter. Seaweed salad was the only miss, it was small and not very well seasoned. Dragon roll was very good with lots of pieces, generous amounts of ginger and wasabi. Sashimi was fresh and was in good sized portions.Finished with green tea mochi, which oddly was served with whipped cream, chocolate sauce and some berry jam. Never had that at any Japanese restaurant.Decor is tasteful with a large drum in the entryway and dark wood throughout. Booths are a little tight for folks with ample frames. There is an accessible handicapped bathroom beyond the regular bathrooms.Overall a winner thanks to great food and wonderful service

This is our favorite spot for dependable delicious food. We like ordering bento boxes so we can have two "picks". My favorite combo is chicken katsu and California Roll sushi. Their katsu sauce is the perfect blend of sweet and tangy. Service is friendly and efficient. The restaurant is popular and often packed on weekends so we like to go for an earlier dinner to increase chances of getting a table.

East West has long been a favorite eatery no matter where itâs located. I was cruising Proctor and stopped in for a lunch break. My spicy, garlic chicken with red rice accompanied by a fresh spring roll was just the ticket. It arrived piping hot and beautifully presented with chives and carrot nibble sprinkles. My server was quietly attentive and I liked that. It was a lovely solo dining experience and Iâll be returning for more for sure. Give it a go!

Definitely one of the top Thai restaurants in the Tacoma/Pierce county area. Crispy garlic chicken and chicken pad Thai were good. Avocado spring rolls were excellent! Coconut ice cream and sweet sticky rice with fresh mango....how could you go wrong on these! Besides Simply Thai in Tukwila this will be one of my favorite Thai places

I had the snow peas with shiitake mushrooms. The vegetables were fresh and not overcooked. The broth in which they were cooked was savory but not heavy or sweetened, like most Thai food I have eaten. It was healthy and delicious. This is the best Thai food I have ever had.The service was friendly and excellent as well.

Had a wonderful experience our first visit to Indo. Promptly seated upon arrival at about 6:30 although all tables were essentially filled. Shumai dumplings were superb and a great visual as well. Tamarind wings were flavorful and meaty but not unique. Singapore Curry Shrimp was also superb as well as the Chicken Khao Soi (noodle bowl). Great variety of flavors and we look forward to coming back to sample the other offerings. Good place to share all your selections. Two appetizers and two main courses plus two alcoholic beverages for about $70

Our son, who lives in Tacoma, suggested having dinner here, so we went last night. What a delightful surprise! This restaurant is very well appointed! We were extremely impressed with the decor, which set the stage for a delicious meal! I can't say enough about Russel, our waiter. He was superb in every way - from food selections, to his prompt, efficient service. The food was LEGIT! Just a warning, when they say the heat is 5 stars, they truly mean 5 stars!!! I had the Pepper Prawns served with cabbage, carrots, and broccoli. I ordered 5 stars, and it was painfully awesome! We will most definitely be back!
