A very mixed bag of tastes - some of the food was really nice and some of it was pretty bland like the chow mein. We have eaten here before but quite a while back and I'm sure I remember it being better last time. Would probably order again but wouldn't be my first choice take away.

It's our wedding anniversary and I'm working late. We're looking for somewhere open as we're starving. They're about to close but make an exception for us. Two quick and scrumptious meals, a chicken korma and a chicken biryani, as quick as you like, and they knocked off 10% for takeaway. £15, plus they gave us a veg dish for good measure. Sitting on a bench in a deserted high street at midnight with your soulmate, all washed down with a half bottle of our own Prosecco, who says romance is dead?

When swanage do as the swanagens do...Eat a Thali at our favourite Indian restaurant. Arrived and greeted like old friends the room full of locals and visitors enjoying their meals. The food is always fantastic, classic British /Indian fare. Go and find out for yourselves. Hopefully it will be THALI TIME again soon.

Nihal Spice at 69 High Street in Swanage is a rare gem. A large and varied menu of Asian dishes that will make your mouth water. All prepared fresh right in front of you by Bangladeshi chefs that really know how to create dishes that are full of flavour. I am a regular visitor to South East Asia and if I close my eyes the flavours and aromas transport me to Chulia Street in Georgetown, Penang, one of the world's great food destinations. I really cannot recommend Nihal Spice Highly enough!Try some of the Chef's Special Dishes and you won't be disappointed. The Akboro Chicken is stunning and the freshly made Chapatis are wonderful. The staff are knowledgable and friendly and make you feel very welcome. Don't miss it.
