Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Stellenbosch. Hiking trails and art galleries abound in Stellenbosch, but it's wine that takes center stage. More than 100 wine cellars, most open to the public, surround the oak-lined South African town, and tasting tours operate daily. Winter brings a four-day festival celebrating the local vintages. The historic town center houses the trading-post style shop Oom Samie se Winkel, the Neo-Gothic Moederkerk church, and museums dedicated to toys, military memorabilia, autos and early life on the Cape.

Asian-inspired cuisine at Indochine is an evocative, fine dining food theatre, where delicate flavours come alive and each dish is synonymous with vitality, wellness and healthy living. Discover Asian tapas turned into an art form, or experience a tea cer
I took my partner for her recent birthday and I always pick somewhere special. The restaurants at Delaire Graaf wine estate have been recommended by several people so I gave the Indochine restaurant a try. This is among the more expensice restaurants I've been to in South Africa, but it was worth every cent. The food was outstanding, and so were the views. I would place this in the top 3 restaurants I've even been to. If you are able to visit the winelands region outside Cape Town, and are looking for fine dining, I'd highly recommend Indochine. I am now looking for an opportunity to try the main restaurant at the estate as well, where the views are even better!

Sushi quality is good, but the selection on the belt is extremely monotonous. For anything that is not on the belt, you can order with a waiter, which is very hard to come by. At R155 for a buffet, it is definitely one if the best priced all-you-can-eat options in a very large radius.Bonus points for the fact that the buffet includes ice cream, have not seen that before.

One of the biggest problems of eating Thai food if you're vegetarian is that fish/shrimp paste is added to most dishes. Thankfully the owner/manager and the staff here understood our request and could cater to vegetarian dishes without the paste. We ended up eating here a couple of times. They have multiple seating options - outdoors, indoors and if I recollect well a courtyard at the back. The food was good, simple Thai stuff, nothing too fancy. The taste was authentic and the service prompt. We enjoyed our meals here.
