Visited with friends as their choice of venue. Really friendly staff and good service. The food was pleasant, and plenty of it with a lot of choice on the menu. I enjoyed the poppadoms and chutneys but felt it lacked a spicy chutney. I'm not a spice freak and I chose a medium curry, however it lacked the heat and depth of flavour was expecting. To be fair I didn't say this when staff asked as if everything was OK (typical British mentality) but how often do people really say, nice but lacking in oommph! The couple we were with seemed to enjoy their meals however.

My third visit but just had to recommend again as the food is fantastic.I decided to try some different dishes so I didnât have a Thai curry . Instead I opted for the Seabass with lemon grass chilli and lime and the King Prawns with Tamarind The Seabass was cooked to perfection and the flavours were delicate but with a punch. The prawns were huge and again full of flavour with an exquisite sauce. I also had a chicken pad thai which again was delicious. The service is really good too

Visited here for the first time with my dad and was not disappointed. Excellent food! We had starters and shared several vegetarian sides with rice and paratha. Couldnât fault it. Sam was a great host and very helpful in choosing dishes! Weâll definitely be back to work our way through the menu!

Having previously lived in Bishopswood, we visited this restaurant on many occasions in the past. We were expecting a lovely meal. However, the service was appalling and the food disappointing. We waited an hour for our food - whilst watching the takeaway meals flying out of the door! It would appear that takeaway orders take priority over the in house diners waiting patiently for their food. When my food arrived it was tough and inedible. Dried up chicken served (weirdly) with chips - looking like something out of a fast food burger restaurant. The dessert menus were thrown on the table - probably because the staff were embarrassed. Nobody came to apologise. I have never written a poor review in all the years I have contributed to Trip Adviser, but we were all so disappointed. My only advice would be to stick to the takeaway menu if you really have to visit this restaurant. If you want to sample authentic, tasty Indian food, come to Stafford town instead where there are plenty of lovely restaurants.

We eat here quite regularly. Sometimes when busy, the service can be a little slow, but this week it was excellent - Lacy and Katie looked after us as well as the guys. The food is always top notch - husband always had the mixed Balti; (he has this everywhere we go but has never yet had one to beat the Island). I usually have Mushroom Saag. The Naan bread is always good too. We visit as a couple and also with friends, all of whom go there themselves too. Really recommend this place, my only complaint is it is sometimes a bit cold in there if you arrive soon after opening, as we often do!

This pub serves lovely Nepalese dishes as very reasonable price. The food is freshly prepared and taste very well. Great for a lazy night of non cooking as it does not break the bank and provide a nice meal.

Arriving at 1830hrs we were warmly welcomed, and seated. The comprehensive menu was presented to us; From my description of a dish I have enjoyed in the past here and elsewhere, the chef prepared it for me as a main course. All the dishes we selected were excellent, as were the desserts. service was friendly and efficient, and overall we enjoyed an excellent meal. highly recommended. Free parking available in the evening opposite the venue.
