We have visited here on a couple of occasions and both times the food was of a very good standard. The king Fu Chicken was delicious as were the many smaller plates we tried. Excellent value as well.

We had an early dinner before the Palais theatre and the service was friendly and timely. We were greeted at the door and attended to regularly for drinks and extra little touches. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming with lovely lighting. The food was delicious, hot, fresh, flavoursome and generous. Was more than what we expected in both quantity and flavour. So glad we read the reviews on this place before we booked. It really was a highlight of our stay in St Kilda! Highly recommend! P.S. there were so many people collecting takeaway and just as many takeaways being delivered. A very positive indication of the quality of the food.

This little cafe has some very good food and lots of great healthy options. It also does not use MSG which is important. The flavours are tasty and I've enjoyed dishes like the soft shell crab with brown rice and vegetable dishes. The restaurant could look better and can be noisy. Last time we were there we asked for the music to be turned down.Overall though the food and service are very good.

Housed in an historic turn-of-the-century horse stable, Hawker Hall is our representation of a food and beer hall that takes its inspiration from the vibrant hawker centres of Singapore & Malaysia. Our food is inspired by the vibrant street-food culture o
We stopped by for lunch and were disappointed with the experience. The space is stylish and spacious and service was okay but the food was average, over priced and poor value. The portion sizes were minuscule. I understand they are share plates but the the amount of food in each dish was tiny. There are so many places that you get twice the amount of (better quality) food at half the price. The dishes we did try were fine but nothing special. Poor value for money and trading on hype that is unwarranted.

This is a noisy, large, two-tiered restaurant that has a beer hall atmosphere. The tables are very close to each other so that you can hear everything your neighbors are talking about. Hearing each other may be more difficult ...The food is standard sushi and sashimi as well as some hot dishes. The service was slow. The Edamame which we expected to come first came last. We had the tuna, chef's roll and grilled salmon which all tasted good. The beer was poor. We went there because it was close to the penguin colony. But better to look elsewhere.

We had a very enjoyable lunch at an old favourite today, Chinta Ria Soul. When I say old favourite, it was in the late 90âs that I used to frequent this establishment almost weekly.Service today was warm & genuine and the food was exceptional.Interesting wine list and great value overall, it was great to be back!

Such amazing food, especially the watermelon martini and the salmon tacos. The corn ball special also really good. Quick good and fantastic service the waiters/ waitress all really friendly. A little loud but a younger vibe. Pricey but not too ridiculous and worth the amazingness of the food. Canât wait to return!

A small, atmospheric restaurant serving top quality food. One can leave here with an expensive Bill, however in our group of 8 we ordered two Entrees to share, four Mains to share with a large bowl of special rice plus a large bowl of vegetables and nothing more was needed....apart from a delightful Alto Aldige white from the north of Italy and a Paringa Peninsula pinot. My companion thought that the Bill was reasonable for such fine dining.

Really interesting food in a small setting . A good range of small, medium and large dishes. Our favourites were fish amok; scotch fillet and the spiced cauliflower side. Very reasonably priced wine list from small wineries. Strongly recommend. Also consider the chefâs tasting menu.
