Find out what Asian restaurants to try in St Ives. St. Ives boasts a quartet of golden-sand beaches. Sheltered coves draw swimmers and sun-worshippers, but water-sports aficionados visit St. Ives for great surfing, windsurfing and water-skiing conditions. And on your way there, keep your eyes peeled for a dude with seven wives. You never know when nursery rhymes might come true.
Things to do in St Ives
Visited here on the request of my youngest son who had recently recovered from a tummy bug a few days earlier and was not eating well at all after. His choice of food so we hoped it would help kick-start him again - which it duly did! The food was good and we all enjoyed the meal. We had meal C for 3 people which easily fed the 4 of us. The bang bang chicken starter was interesting but nice - a cold chicken dish which I would describe as chicken in a spicy prawn cocktail sauce on lettuce - I know that probably doesnât sound great but it was nice I promise! The rest of the meal was lovely and they happily exchanged one of the dishes for an alternative.
Have been here dozens of times over the years, every time we visit St Ives for a holiday we have got a takeaway from here on our first evening, and have never once been dissapointed. The food is always hot & tastes freshly prepared, is always non-greasy and simply delicious. Can't reccomend enough!
Also known as Sushi St Ives, located on a side street, this place is a must visit. Our family love sushi and staying in Newquay during school holidays were disappointed to find that Safu in Newquay had closed for business. The only sushi place we could find was located in Plymouth except for Delice du Monde. The place is set up to serve sushi take away (no eat in possible) but even if you donât like sushi just go for a fruity bubble tea.....best drink available in St Ives!!! A box of 8 generous size sushi pieces will set you back £5.99 which in my opinion is very good value. It is also a shop selling all manner of things Japanese food related. We purchased 8 boxes of sushi (my kids are fanatics) instead of eating out and it was amazing. We left our mobile number and were sent a text a short time later to say they were ready for collection.Amazing sushi all freshly made.......will DEFINITELY be back!!!

We were looking for somewhere last minute when we did the usual âgoogle mapsâ search and saw Curry Garden, so after a quick call they managed to fit us in at just 15 minutes notice, (two adults, two children)The venue is a very basic but standard Indian restaurant, the staff were very helpful and accommodating, there is no childrenâs menu however the staff were more than happy to halve an adult portion (and the price) for our children. The food was tasty and the meal very fulfilling, I went for something very spicy and it did not disappoint and the rest of the gang meals were super, our only criticism would be that the âgravyâ could have been a bit thicker, everything else was great, reasonable price overall for the location of the restaurant, we would recommend a visit here.

We tried to get in but they were full. Luckily we went back the next night and got in (they don't take bookings). The staff were friendly and very efficient, the menu was great: Thai dishes at their best. I opted for a beef Massaman curry (small portion) and sticky rice which was the perfect amount for my small appetite. My partner had king prawn Thai green curry (main course size) with sticky rice which he said was delicious. We shared a bottle of wine which was reasonably priced for a restaurant and they supply tap water too.The views are great, overlooking the harbour.
