Things to do in Springwood
Had my first Pad Thai from Eric`s many years ago and it was fantastic! Since then I`ve tasted many others from Brisbane South restaurants but none come even close to Eric`s. It even looks different. It`s colourful and fragrant and the taste is unique - spicy and full of flavour. The Mee Goreng and Beijing Noodles are also worth a try. They`ve expanded into Chinese meals. But I haven`t tried them because I stick with their forte â noodles. The portions are generous, the quality is consistent and the price equals great value. Try Eric`s Pad Thai and if you can tell me where a better one can be found in Brisbane`s South, please let me know. The only negative I can say about Eric`s is that they don`t open for lunch on the weekend.
Believe it or not but not all sushi train restaurants are the same. The sushi train at Chatswood is one of the best sushi train restaurants in Brisbane. I've been there countless of times and have never left disappointed. Staff are always available and friendly and the sushi is always fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend anytime for a quick bite to eat or a relaxed dinner with friends.

Had lunch at this restaurant it reminded me of China town in Dixon st in Sydney in the 70's/80's Chinese waiters rushing around bumping in to each other talking at the top of their voice great food but we never had white bait back then it was great

The best Thai restaurant with great food good value enough to take home for leftovers from a single serve of Chicken Pad Thai and Coconut Rice. Lovely ladies serving to beautifully decorated tables in traditional clothing, a frequent visitor to this restaurant and now improved in new premises at Chatswood Shopping Centre.

Fantastic Selection of Sri Lankan and Indian Cuisine prepared fresh daily to tantalize the taste buds. We proudly serve the best butter chicken and chicken tikka in Brisbane. Try and taste it for yourself.
I visited on a Saturday night with a group of 8 friends. The menu was relatively simple not an overwhelming amount of options like so many restaurants these days. All the food was served in a timely manner. The starters were delicious, I had vegetable samosas. The mains were reasonably priced $15-20 and we had two big servings of rice for the table as well as some fantastic garlic naans. The rice was wonderful, spiced with cardamom and cloves. It was the best chicken korma I've ever had, It was beautifully spiced and not overly creamy. As a Pommie I pride myself on being a good judge of these things. The atmosphere would have been improved if there were more people there, but it meant that we got excellent service.

Soi 9 is a better than average Thai although their main business appears to be take away. The "Restaurant" is very small and plain. Recommended for the food only, don't go there for a romantic dinner. Staff are quite friendly and they have lunch specials at a reasonable price.

Just a small and humble family run Chinese restaurant. We offer both take-away and dine-in options. All meals are made to order ensuring freshness and great taste.
Invited to this small restaurant for a birthday banquet, really looked forward to it and it didn't disappoint. Found it well run, efficient staff, the birthday girl was very happy with the banquet organised and all the food eaten quickly, nothing left. I rarely eat Chinese these days but very impressed especially the Fried Lemon chicken. The restaurant has probably been there a long time and judging by the take away trade very popular. Its not my local area but if I lived here I would certainly patronise it for food. Has the standard fish tank at the front which makes me relive the Chinese restaurants of the 1970s. The fans and strong air conditioning would make a welcome respite from the humidity but luckily the night I went the humidity had abated somewhat and I did feel a little chill but everyone appeared comfortable.

Regularly get take away from here. Food is better than next doors Thai so we always get take away here (but if sitting down for a meal we go next door as itâs a bit of a nicer seating setting).Food is always consistently good. Recommend for take away.

Went there last night with 4 friends. 3 of us had the same dish but 2 had chicken in theirs and I had prawns. The 3 of us who had the same dish were disappointed with the taste of the noodles in the dish. We shared a fried rice which was the best fried rice I have ever eaten. The person who had coconut prawns said they were very nice as was the coconut rice she had with them. The chicken sticks were ok when used with the sauce.
