South Jordan is a city in south central Salt Lake County, Utah, United States. The city lies in the Salt Lake Valley between the 9,000-foot (2,700 m) peaks of the Oquirrh Mountains and the 12,000-foot (3,700 m) peaks of the Wasatch Mountains and is part of the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. The Jordan River flows through the middle of the valley and the city has a 3.5-mile (5.6 km) section of the Jordan River Parkway that contains fishing ponds, trails, parks and natural habitat. Salt Lake County fair grounds and equestrian park, 67-acre (27 ha) Oquirrh Lake and 27 other parks are located inside the city. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 50,418.

We didn't like our first visit here, but I decided to try it again and now I'm a frequent visitor. I like the Coconut Thai curry with shrimp. Order ahead with the app and you can get in and out speedy quick.

Went to lunch today with my daughter and we decided to try this place based on all the positive reviews. Huh? Salty soup, soggy sweet and sour chicken, soggy orange chicken and old-looking edamame. Since our server didn't write anything down, we never received our fried wontons. Guess we dined on an "off day" compared to other reviewers, but we won't be going back - too many other choices available.

We've eaten Red 88 Asian Bistro's food twice and loved it both times. This new place serves Chinese, Japanese and Thai dishes. We ate in the first time and had take-out the second. The menu includes: sushi rolls (regular and deep fried), Ramen, Tempura Udon, Soups, Salads, Lo Meins, both Fried and Steamed Rice, Yakisoba, kids meals, Donburi, and even some desserts. They don't have a bar for alcoholic drinks, but soft drinks , milk, teas, and coffee are available. Dishes may have beef, shrimp, chicken, or pork. There are vegetable dishes for those wanting tofu. The restaurant is clean, and the service is friendly and attentive. Parking is off-street, and there is plenty of it. We plan to return to this very nice neighborhood place many times in the near future.

This is a local Chinese restaurant. They offer terrific service good food and cheap prices. They have a lunch special for 4.99 and you can pick three items from the list it is a fabulous deal. It is one of my favorite places to eat. There sweet and sour pork and chicken are so good. They have lots of food choices and an American menu in case you need it.

Stopped in for lunch and was clearly made aware of why their lot is always busy! Was greeted immediately upon entering. Seated quickly. Ordered from their lunch special menu. Entree with fried or steamed rice, soup, and small appetizer for $6.95. What a deal! Soup was served piping hot and very promptly. Ordered chicken lo mein with steamed rice. Received a very generous portion of both with cheese wontons as requested. Everything was very tasty. Will definitely be a "regular"!

Went here for dinner and had some xcellent pad Thai. Also had some curry noodle and egg plant. The egg plant was just ok but the curry was good and as I have said excellent pad thai. Also had Tom Tom that was ok. Service was quick and efficient. The decor is pretty simple and it is an obvious family run restaurant. Pricing is very reasonable.

The building stand alone and the pace has excellent operations which makes for a great customer experience in controlled environment. Fortunately the food is even better than the operations. Clearly fresh ingredients on the vegetable kung pao tofu. Spicy, savory, delicious. The pot stickers were perfect. The service was the best.

Went last night for dinner and had been before and had liked it. This time, lacking in professional and food was just ok. I was more unimpressed with the staff continually on their cell phones, and jumping up and sitting on the back counter by the register but happened to be right in front of me the whole time. If you donât mind this type of atmosphere from the people who bring you your food but donor wash their hands from going to money, to their phones, to holding your plates of food, come here. As you see in the picture, the employees were constantly huddled like this and on their cell phones.

Didnât expect the 7pm hour of a Thursday night to be as busy. The service remain fast and the atmosphere friendly and comfortable. The fires doing rolls were excellent and the curry and rice were delicious. Customers were well dressed, obviously here for important and special occasions.

Slow time of day, 3pm. Ordered my favorite: small plate short ribs minus green onions. Plated beautifully as usual. Meat was undercooked. And I just couldnt bring myself to send it back- general rumors ya know.My daughter joined later and service was very slow. We ordered coconut glory dessert minus coconut flakes. The ice cream was ginger instead of coconut.Tsunami usually does not disappoint, but it did today and this was my first time at the SJ location.Tracie- Thank you for sharing your recent experience at our South Jordan location.
