Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Seattle. In Seattle you simply can’t skip the Central Public Library – a modern architectural marvel of glass grids, unusual shapes, and a “book spiral” that climbs four stories. Stroll over to Pike Place Market to visit the original Starbucks and play catch with a fishmonger. In the heart of the city lies Chihuly Garden and Glass, which will dazzle you with its colorful and delicate works. Glide to the top of the Space Needle for panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ranges and Puget Sound.

This is a very nice sushi restaurant right in downtown Seattle. But being centrally located and very popular, this place can get crowded in a hurry. So my advice is to go a little early. This way you can beat the rush, avoid the line-up and take advantage of their happy hour specials (both food and drink). The sushi and rolls were delicious, with generous portions. During happy hour, a good idea is to order several plates to share. Don't forget the edamame. And service was friendly and helpful too.

This Thai restaurant has been on Roy Street in Lower Queen Anne for a long time (1985, I believe). The building itself is unpretentious, but has a certain vibe. But the service is what makes this place special - well, that and the food! The menu is diverse and reasonably authentic, but if you just want a good ole' Phad Thai, that's great, too! Never had mushy noodles or overly dry Phad Thai (yuck!) Also must try the deep fried veggie rolls. They're spectacular! Pricing is reasonable, and their take-out is reliably good, too. Great for those late-night cravings or a family dinner on the go.

My husband and I needed to run an errand in University Village so decided to time our arrival for lunch at Din Tai Fong. At 11:45 a.m. on a Saturday, the restaurant proved to be full, and we were told to expect at least a 15-minute wait. But the turnover seemed to be fast and we were seated within 10 minutes in the big cantine-like room filled with tables. The large menu included appetizers, soups, steamed dumplings and noodles. We checked the items we wanted on a long, two-sided sheet and gave it to a waitress, who arrived quickly. For us, the drawback to this restaurant is that we love its steamed dumplings, but a single order generally contains 10. To get more than one kind requires two orders or 20 dumplings, far too much for us to eat. So unless we come with a group, our variety of steamed dumplings becomes limited. For this lunch, we decided on shrimp and Kurobuta pork potstickers (5 pieces), chicken and mushroom buns (2 pieces) and shredded pork fried rice. Each order came out separately and the delicious fried brown rice arrived almost immediately. Next came the potstickers, fairly average in taste. We liked the buns but much prefer barbecue pork filling, which is not on the menu. Our cheery waitress remained attentive despite her responsibility for many tables. When we left, a huge number of customers stood waiting for tables. We walked straight ahead for a few yards and directly entered one of the mallâs parking garages, which is quite convenient when dining at Din Tai Fong.

Serve authentic Thai yellow crab curry which you can choose spicy level. The ambience is good for friends, family, tourist or business with both indoor & outdoor. Location is near Pike market so you can try this place for lunch or dinner after sightseeing or shopping.

Stateside serves global cuisine inspired by over a decade of living, traveling, exploring and cooking abroad in Europe and Asia.
It was very good! The restaurant itself was very cute. My favorite part was probably the drink served in a coconut! I got the crispy rice cakes with egg and enjoyed it. The food was unique and tasty. Itâs right across the street from the big Starbucks Reserve.

Very flavorful dishes. The steamed cod was very palatable - taste and texture were spot on. The restaurantâs decor invites relaxation. Make sure to have a reservation. Even that will not guarantee No Wait. Maybe management needs to review operational practice?

Four-time James Beard nominated Master Chef Shiro Kashiba's top rated fine dining, sushi and Japanese cuisine restaurant. Astounding views of Puget Sound and Pike Place Market. Trained under Master Jiro Ono in Tokyo, Chef Kashiba traveled to Seattle in 19
Expected to be wowed by this restaurant, but left feeling disappointed. We each had the Peak assortment. Lovely restaurant, delightful staff, beautiful presentations. We love sushi and donât mind spending a big buck for exceptional food, but for the very expensive price, this sushi was no better than some of the great sushi I have eaten in San Francisco for less money.

I had a guest coming into town from Toyko who has eaten at Jiro's in Tokyo Station, so I wanted to show off some of Seattle's best, and Shiro's didn't disappoint. He gave it a thumbs up.Made reservations a month ago for five of us. Tried to figure out a fixed menu with Yasuko - reservations and emails took awhile to get into a rhythm. We finally decided that it would just be easiest to order off the menu. Parking is on your own - some street parking if you're lucky. A couple of lots a block away. One oddity is that the front door looks normal, but it almost takes two people to open it!Budget wise, I would say Shiro's is not inexpensive, nor is it over the top expensive. I suppose you could go wild with omakase, but menu prices are not more than elsewhere, and some of these dishes are really top notch. Easiest to interact with servers in Japanese, as that is a first language for all the people we interfaced with, but their English was excellent as well.We treated the evening like a big izakaya - edamame, shishito, a chawanmushi that one in our party wanted to try, tempura, and a great cod karaage that was on the day's special. Everything served with nice presentation. Drinks were kept filled all evening (they serve a nice green iced tea). Nice selection of beer and sake. Then came a large sashimi platter, very fresh as you would expect, and several orders of the smaller sushi plate. I would have gone for the large tasting sushi plates for the table, but our guest didn't want to go all out. All in all a wonderful evening and what is one of the best sushi restaurants in Seattle.
