Was quite surprised at the selection of items on buffet line. The staff kept items replenished and the service was excellent. The dishes were removed quickly and drinks refilled frequently. Good salad bar, desserts and also had sushi rolls that were pretty good. We enjoyed the food and was quite tasty. Will go again.

Just like the "Lego Movie," everything is awesome on the menu at Kob Jai. My family has been enjoying Kob Jai for years. We love the curries, the pho, and just about everything else we've tried. It's a family run restaurant and they do a great job taking care of you. Portions are very reasonably priced and they allow you to customize spice and protein on most dishes. You can even order for pickup as we often do. Give them a try today!

This was my second time to order at this restaurant. The first time was August 2016, and the food my family ordered then was incredible! My favorite items from Wind Taste are their Chicken Lo Mein, White Rice (steamed rice), and Egg Rolls. The service was excellent this time, and the food is cooked right there when you order it. I am impressed once again with their impeccable quality of the taste of their food! The food is far better than New China on North Arkansas Ave. Pricing is slightly higher here, yet the quality exceeds the price. The taste of their Chicken Lo Mein, White Rice, and Egg Rolls were quite heavenly! For those who go to New China, please try this place because you will not be disappointed!

This was our first visit here. It was a fun environment. The chef was entertaining and the food was good. The shrimp and steak were excellent. It was all served with a mountain of rice and vegetables. I enjoyed the rice but didnât quite need that large portion. Menu is very pricey for average joe, but was okay for a special occasion.

Fast to be seated there were five in our party. The server was very quick with drink order, as this is an buffet you served yourself. Good selection of food, also had a Sushi bar.

This clearly used to be a diner with a huge parking lot. The signage is terrible. I drove right past it and had to U-turn.But so what? The menu is extensive. The bun bo hue soup (spicy beef) was gigantic and delicious. And the price is low.The interior is spare and entirely utilitarian. It feels like you're eating in a college cafeteria. But so what? The food's good, and the price is right. There's one big problem they ought to fix. The display case refrigeration motor makes a terrible racket. When it turned off, I actually sighed.

Ate at Umami's Sat May 19, 2018 at 5:15pm. Our second stop at this favorite eatery. Our cost before tip: $55.05 which we thought was very good value and we left full, satisfied and with a box of take-home.Umami's is well off the freeway and challenging to find. Signage is not great and it is easy to miss it. We got there shortly after they opened and parking was already pretty tight. Yet we were able to park and score a clean, comfortable table with no wait then watch a line form shortly after we sat down. Also noticed they do a good take out business. Lighting is subdued but menu can still be read. Noise level is fine, with lots of activity being fun to watch. The mid sized restaurant reflects an Asian influenced design and is bustling. Our teriffic server Josh arrived with large descriptive menu of sushi, hibachi, Asian noodles and other dishes. Don't remember any food photos.I asked our server Josh about a Fire Scallop appetizer $8.95 we had on our last trip that was not on the menu. He remembered the dish and had it prepared for us - delicous. I also got their very tender Hibachi Fillet $17.95 which came with rice and veggies and two beers at $4.30 each. Wife had tea for $1.50 and a Yakisoba noodle combo with shrimp, scallops and chicken for $12.95 that she really liked. Food quality for all dishes was very good. Portions were large and plating was fine.Have to give kudos to Josh our server. Time to menu, drinks, food and bill were great. He was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and always attentive. We'll be back..
