I visited on Friday, November 9, 2018 at noon. The menu is quite extensive. I ordered Tom Kha soup and chicken pad Thai.Food arrived in a timely manner and was served piping hot. The flavor of the soup is outstanding! They use authentic Thai ingredients that many other restaurants donât. This makes all the difference in great taste. The pad Thai was exceptional! All of the flavors were spot on.The portions are very generous. The price is very good for the wonderful food and kind service. I would return in a heartbeat.Thank you for your wonderful review! We are happy you enjoyed your visit to Thai Spice and we look forward to serving you again soon.We strive to use the best most authentic ingredients we can.Happy Holidays !

a 50 seat casual BYO in a historic home right down the street from Ursinus College. Serving Lunch, Dinner, Saturday - Sunday Brunch, New American Cuisine
My wife and I first visited Chow Bistro in March of last year, you can find our review here. We returned a couple of times after that and were equally pleased. However, we had dinner there last night and we were quite disappointed. They were totally booked, and we were lucky to have made our reservation when we did. And, I agree with other reviews regarding the noise level; conversation between my wife and I was very difficult. We were seated at the table right where the staff enters and exits the kitchen, never a good spot, but someone has to get it. The service did not match up to our previous visits; our server may have been new because she seemed very unsure of what she was doing. The food, however, was the biggest disappointment. The menu has been drastically reduced from its previous wide selections. The squid skewers appetizer was seriously overcooked, as was the pistachio-crusted brie. We each selected entree's from the specials menu. My wife's caribbean mahi mahi was fine, but not remarkable. My grilled ribeye steak was disappointing; a rather thin slice that was served with a sauce that was tasty but overpowered the steak. Finally, it came time for dessert, we chose to share the bread pudding that we had on previous visits. After waiting through two cups of coffee we were served... apple cobbler. We didn't want to send it back or make a fuss, but we did mention it to the staff. Graciously, they gave us the bread pudding in a take out container, which was a nice gesture. All in all, this dinner was not at all like previous experiences, which left us to wonder, what's changed?

The recently expanded dining rooms means many more cozy booths for date night! The open sushi prep area means you get to see all the fresh gorgeous sushi being prepared. I have loved everything Iâve ordered! The tuna appetizer is so delicious - raw tuna wrapped around seaweed salad, crab, and crunch.

I did a so-so review about Umami a while back after a disappointing take-out experience but a return visit for eat-in dining turned out to be very good. Our Edamame and Lettuce Wrap starters were excellent. Our daughter and her partner raved about the Tom Yum soup, Sashimi and Red Curry while my wife and i were more than pleased with our Wonton Soup, Pineapple & Shrimp Fried Rice and Crispy Sesame Chicken. Atmosphere is pleasant and service was attentive. All in all, a good experience. Our bill for a group of 4 was $87 for a lot of food, a pretty good value. Will return!

Made reservations for a Sat night for party of 8. When we arrived they did not have our reservation but was early so able to sit. There was one waitress, one busboy and two chefs (no personality!). Took a long time to take drink orders and waited some time after ordering food. As the evening wore on it got more chaotic. People were waiting well past their reservation times and as was case with us another party of 8 had made a reservation but no record of it. Food was better last visit.

Thai place is our favorite spot for take out Thai food in p-ville. They are always quick with the orders and the food is great. Prices are just a little higher than Iâd like but the portions are larger too so youâre getting what youâre paying for.

We went at the recommendation of a local and were very pleased with the authentic dishes. When they use #4 for heat, believe that it is not an American palate #4. ;) The Hot Sauce Style was a terrific dish, full of flavor and spicy! The Double Cooked style chicken was our favorite; a bit salty, but a deeper, richer flavor. The egg rolls, unfortunately, were standard. The Wontons in chili oil must be a signature dish and is another we will enjoy again.

We were very impressed by the efficient service, fresh food, and good values. This is a BYO restaurant and they were most accommodating. It was nice to bring our favorite wine of choice and not be limited to their choices. This is a good feature of their restaurant, and a solid reason we will return again.
