Checked in with the hostess 5 minutes before our reservation time. After a half hour checked with the hostess who rudely insisted we had not checked in. After another check and another half hour we were finally seated. Another 10 minutes before a waitress arrived. Waitress was obviously overloaded but did an excellent job given the crowd. The manager was on the floor trying to help. Food quality and service has gone down since our last visit. Vegetables were mostly onions with a little zucchini. Noise was deafening. Time to find another Japanese steak house.

My family of 5 were surprised to find this restaurant in Cloverdale. There are not a lot of places that serve Laotian food, so we were delighted to see that on the menu in addition to the more popular Thai food. The food was very good, and this is coming from someone who has traveled to Southeast Asia repeatedly..... Can't wait to go back again!

Visited here while visiting family in the Roanoke. This place definitely doesnât disappoint. Amazing Japanese food at an excellent price, with two entreeâs with a one soda was 23 dollars. You definitely get your moneyâs worth eating here! I tried the teriyaki chicken with rice and vegetables. Cooked fresh, and perfectly seasoned. This place definitely comes recommended.

A fellow traveler recommended City Corner 2 when I was talking about another Thai restaurant that didn't impress me...he was not wrong! It's family friendly, affordable, and the food is amazing. I wish that I could remember the name of the dish that I had, but it was Crab something or other. No fake crab here and it had fresh perfectly cooked vegetables in a savory broth. I ordered it medium to be safe, but will opt for medium hot next time. If you like authentic Thai food, this is your place!

We didn't experience any of the issues mentioned in other reviews. The staff was very friendly. I will say their take on the teriyaki entrees was different than what we're used to, but it was delicious. My husband and son really enjoyed the sushi too!

My background - Sushi: as in raw fish - lover of food, traveled across US (Boston to San Diego) to Japan...This place has great service, friendly staff and excellent sashimi and sake! Who would expect in land locked Roanoke? There are actually a few really solid Sushi spots, others with other Chinese/ Japanese food, too. This place is focused on fish! And apparently the rolls and specials are fantastic, too, based on the people around me. I've moved Ben Gui to the top of my sushi list in Roanoke! Then 'Taste of Asia', Wasabi and 'Cafe Asia2'.Enjoy!

This Chinese restaurant offers a complete taste of China. All dishes to fit every taste are available hot and well prepared. The price @ about $10 for all you can eat is a real bargain. Enjoy.

Having been on the road over a week we were craving Asian food. This restaurant seemed like a good bet with Sushi, Japanese, Chinese, and Vietnamese foods all available. We dined on Summer Rolls, Seaweed Salad,Miso Soup, Shumai Soup, a Salmon Cucumber Maki Roll and a Four Treasures entree with 4 proteins. Glasses of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay were great accompaniments. We left very full and happy with the quality and selection of our dining choices.
