Decided to do Chinese take away while overnighting in Riviere du Loup and eat along the riverside park. Lots of selections provided and fairly priced with good sized portions. The staff was courteous and sorted out the order even thru a slight language difference. A good change.
Been there countless times and always been one of my favorite.Taste is perfect, the place is clean and looks good.Food is great... what else can i say.Chris recommended...

This restaurant is not a place where you spend an entire evening. The setup is "fast food": order at the counter, self service for drinks etc. You can also order take-away. It is part of a chain of 50 franchises. The food is absolutely great. We have eaten sushi in many places, including Japan, but the best we had here: amazing combination of taste, textures, colour. And this all at a most reasonable price

Le restaurant les Jardins de Lotus invites you to their dining room. They are open late from Tuesday to Sunday and are easily accessible by car.
We were in Rivière du Loup for one evening after having taken the ferry and were looking for something differing and opted for this restaurant. The food was so unlike any oriental food that I have ever had. The flavor, spices, service, and presentation. were all off. I can not recommend this restaurant!

Le Tournesol bills itself as a combination Chinese-Italian buffet, and strictly speaking I suppose it is. I mean, they did have pizza, and there were some macaroni noodles on the buffet that could have been of Italian origin before the brownish sauce was added to "finish" it. The rest of the buffet was chinese, average fare, chicken balls and rice, lemon chicken and won ton soup, egg rolls, spring rolls, and a few veggie dishes. We didn't leave hungry, but wouldn't rush back.
