I went there and no customers, all cafe just for me. Ideal for studying.Staff are very nice, caring. I order coconut masala chai, palak paneer, roti and aloo parantha. I was a bit surprised the parantha was served first, then palak and chai as last one. I would prefer to get my chai first. I got Parantha with cold curd, freshly cooked and very yummy - 70rps. Palak Paneer was from fresh leaves, smooth consistency, mild in flavour and non spicey, very pleasant taste - 200 Rps Coconut Masala Chai was nice but I prefer feel strong flavour of spices -70 Rps. Roti too thick, I lacked the fluffy - 10 Rps. In total 360 Rps for very nice dinner. Definitely worth it.

Very nice restaurant just need the river Ganges panoramic view of mountain, Laxman Jhula suspension bridge, 13 story temple. Good service, with a brilliant view of the Laxman Jhula. Sunset is just gorgeous. Pretty affordable prices and they let you sit for however long you want without bothering you, which is a huge plus for me.

We chose to ate here based on the TripAdvisor reviews. We found the service poor and the food leaving more to be desired. We had the Paneer Butter Masala, Chapati and Aloo Matter.

This place is truly amazing with finger licking food be it Indian, Chinese, or Western. Thin crust pizzas are to be definitely tried on. Service is prompt. Seating is relaxed with a feel of calmness. This hidden treasure is my all time favorite to dine out. Thanks to Mr. Pankaj for accommodating our requests every single time, a great personality.

The ambience is nice and service is good, but I was really disappointed in the food, though my friends enjoyed what they ordered. I had a lassi that was so bad I couldn't even drink half of it. And the vegetable dish I ordered (can't remember exactly what it was) was quite uninspiring. I used to really like the restaurant, but I don't think I'll go back. The store is really good, though.

I decided to try this place since it is well located, the view to the Ganga by itself is great, never mind if you donât get a seat by the window, the place is still quiet and cozy. The food is delicious, everything I had in two occasions (I had to return) was yummy; I had the cheese/mushroom burger and a juice, both nice, then I had to come back to try the falafel and hummus, served with pita bread and a fresh cup of greens, all really good. I would definitely come back. The service is wonderful, you feel well taken care of and the prices are excellent

A riverside dining lounge: The culinary experience at Jal & Jalebi promises to excite more than just the sense of taste. Donning the look of a snug & sunlit riverside cafe by day, Jal & Jalebi metamorphoses into a candlelit gourmet dining lounge in the ev
Jal and Jalebi is the fine dining restaurant attached to Ganga Kinare - a boutique riverside resort in Rishikesh. When we were staying at the hotel, we had the good fortune of dining here on multiple occasions, and the food and service surpassed our expectations every single time. Particularly worth mentioning are the Garhwali thali, with its delicate Jakhiya tempering, succulent greens and fragrant jhangora and Gehat dal, as well as the excellent breakfast spread. The live music - flute being played by 2 very talented artists - adds to the ambience. The staff is attentive and recommends the right dishes and portion sizes so wastage is minimal, there is zero use of plastic, and the staff is headed ably by Mr. Razvi who establishes a personal rapport with the guests. A lovely experience overall, and highly recommended.

I stayed for just one night, because I had to start on a yoga school the day after. I lost my card earlier that day and was out of cash. I therefore got the hotel booked and pay for online. I needed some cash though, so I asked them in the reception if they could make me pay online and then could take some cash out for me. That was no problem at all, which was a BIG help for me, since I was card less. Very nice manager and staff. The food and room was amazing too!!
