Nevada's "other" gambling and resort town, Reno is located in the western part of the state near the California border. What the city lacks in glitz or reputation it more than makes up for in attractions and amenities. There are first-rate hotels, golf courses and casinos to rival its southern counterpart and, also like Las Vegas, Reno has become a popular destination for families. Galena Creek Park offers nature trails that even young children can navigate, plus organized educational events for families.

Every Thai place makes their curries slightly different, so it's always fun to experience how each one differs. Their yellow curry which was thicker/heavier. Other menu items we tried were all good.Downtown street parking isn't easy. Luckily there is a parking garage right next door.

We went to this location for my sisters birthday. She loves the sushi there and leaves very full. My other sister and I, ordered off the steakhouse menu and all items are just too delicious to choose from. We did choose two entrees and we too were full. Its a great atmosphere and the staff there was amazing and attentive!!!!!

I'm so grateful this is not another generic Chinese restaurant; it doesn't have lanterns or dragons, just good food. Everything is homemade and piping hot. Lots of daily specials with seasonal accents. The spicy dishes are quite tame, next time I would order them "extra spicy." The waitress was bossy, in a very cute way, she told us what to order, and she was right.

This is an interesting restaurant that serves bowls traditional Japanese and traditional Chinese food. Those are actually quite good. The restaurant has undergone some managerial changes and now is really back up to par. Their sushi and sashimi are among the best in town, many of their Chinese dishes are very tasteful. Good price for quality served.

The food was not the traditional Thai we ate used to. I have a sensitivity to cornstarch (thickening agent for sauce) widely used in Chinese food. I like Thai food because their yellow curry is generally thick from high quality coconut milk. I ordered the sizzling platter and it cones with yellow curry. A few bites later I was keenly aware of the ingredients - allergy on! It was still good, but not traditional Thai. I also ordered a more traditional fish - basil shrimp. It was mildly spiced, but the lack of fragrant basil made it just a spicy shrimp dish. The wait staff is great. The place is clean. I watched the bidder take a soapy rag and clean the table top. Not an old wet dirty water rag! Iâll try this place again with different expectations.

Canât ask for a more no-thrills place than vinyl covered seats and a 2 page menu on a laminated sheet. Service was fast-food fast and the selections were good.Had the beef balls noodles. Broth was not as rich as expected but it tasted fine with all the veggie accessories.Vietnamese coffee was right on. Drip caffeine perked me up and the condensed milk was not too sugary.Right across from Harrahâs.
