I stopped in here all prepared to order Pad Thai, but the appetizers looked good so that's what I got. I chose the Shrimp Rolls (rice-paper-wrapped shrimp, fried with dipping sauce) and the Seafood Dumplings (steamed and seasoned with crab meat, shrimp, and chicken). The shrimp rolls were good, but the dumplings were terrific--very flavorful, and the soy-sauce based dipping sauce went well with them. Since I'm on vacation, I decided to treat myself to a dessert. I ordered coconut ice-cream, since the other choice was mango with sticky rice, and I wasn't in the mood for that. The ice-cream was among the best I've ever had. It looked like chocolate-chip ice-cream, but the parts that looked like chocolate were actually bits of coconut that had been cooked in some marvelous way. I may have to fit in another visit before I go back home in a few days.

Good Food Reasonable Cost. Not that heavy feeling that you get from food you eat at some Chinese restaurants. Food is cooked in a wok and served immediately. Pols like a carry out but had adequate seating for eat in guests.

Joining the very excellent Finn Thai, is Patama. More of a take out focussed spot, although there is seating inside, it is certainly more casual than its cousin across Main Street. The menu is short, but based on our experience, very tasty. We very much enjoyed our appetizers, Tom Yum soup and potstickers, as well as our mains of kapok chicken and chicken fried rice. There is no bar, and soda is self serve. Overall a good addition to our dining scene.

Even for Virginia, this place was spendy (PNW term for expensive )! Take-out was average, at best, and, except for the rice, portions and content were underwhelming! Two chicken dishes were the same chicken that they just simply provided different sauces for, and that chicken had been prepared much earlier, as it was very dry. To be fair, several thought the extra "specialty" dishes were tasty, but tiny portions. The Broccoli Chicken was primarily Broccoli. Among our group, it was up and down, based on what dishes were eaten, so I feel the "average" is warranted. Also, a Local did indicate that his experience eating-in was better.
Good Chinese food by any standards.Take out is best choice because there is zero atmosphere and the smell of the fryers. We haven't had a bad choice here.Appetizers good size and always right.Crispy beef, salt and pepper shrimp, house fried rice...all good choices.Solid local Chinese restaurant
