Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Providence. Years of careful urban planning and meticulous restoration have rendered this former rum and molasses trading town one of the best places to live in the United States, star of an eponymous television show and a swell place to spend a weekend. Historic sites, wonderful museums and theaters seamlessly blend with newer attractions on the block including a modern mega-mall, scenic Riverwalk, outdoor skating arena, convention center, plus new hotels and restaurants. The Roger Williams Zoo, with its updated Tropical Rainforest Building where "spunky monkeys" roam free in a constructed jungle-like environment, remains one of the city's top attractions and offers hours of entertainment for children and adults alike. Wander back in time on Benefit Street, where eminent Federal period homes recall the city's wealthy past. For a modern experience, check out the more than 100 stores at Providence Place. Or tantalize your taste buds on "The Hill," a historic area that boasts many award- winning restaurants, from the Italian and Mediterranean cuisine for which "Little Italy" got its name, to Caribbean, Mexican, Chinese, seafood and baked goods. For a different perspective, take a romantic river cruise on an authentic Venetian gondola. No matter what your vantage point, Providence sparkles.

Being Cambodian, I am familiar with majority of the dishes served here. I stuck with the lemongrass chicken and my gf ordered the sesame chicken. Effortlessly one of the best Cambodian, Chinese, and Vietnamese food I've ever had the pleasure of dining. I also live in Boston, so theres plenty of Cambodian fusion venues here, yet none of them are as delicious.

We came for a birthday dinner and were a little apprehensive after reading the reviews of very slow service. However, we had no issues and had an attentive server who was good about filling our water and bringing extra napkins. I had the bibimbap and was very pleased, as was the rest of our group with all that was ordered. I would definitely go back and try something new.

A wonderful and impromptu dinner after pre-made plans were thrown off by a storm delaying our arrival in Providence. My wife of 20 years (and a day), who is self admittedly âa bitâ picky, raved about each plate and threw caution to the wind and complimented the chefs and the front of house team personally ... and I couldnât but agree wholeheartedly!

Upscale Asian restaurant specializing in sushi.
The food is as beautifully prepared as the lovely view of Providence waters. Great service and great menu selection that left everyone full and happy. A wonderful spot to celebrate a birthday or gather with small or large groups. Valet parking is offered for âfreeâ and you determine the tip.

I had a very enjoyable dinner here. There were many options, but the server didnât really have any suggestions. The rolls sampler was really good. The orange seitan has a bit too much batter coating, so it was really filling and a bit sweet for me. The General Tso was better. All in all, a satisfying dining experience. If youâre looking for a place when vegans an omnivores can all leave happy and full, this place wonât disappoint.

This is a very modern, very minimalist, but very accommodating middle of the road restaurant specializing in "Asian" food. They do Korean and Japanese with equal adeptness. Their signature dish is Bibimbap hot stone bowls. They come in a large variety of combinations. The allure is not only the vast array of options but the stone bowl. They use the same bowl to cook the dish as the bowl which is served at your table. The contents are irresistibly umami tasting. The rice tends to stick to the sides and bottom of the bowl, and this is the magic in the dish. You scrape off the rice and the result is great tasting and crispy rice. The sushi rolls were very very fresh and reasonably prices. Come to think of it, everything was reasonably priced. The Korean style short ribs were a little too sweet but it was to be expected. They do the sweet/spicy/salty combination that most people look for. There were so many things that I wanted to taste, like the Yaki soba noodles, bulgogi beef, and hot pot soup, There is something for everyone. The spartan decor somehow works with the style of the menu. The fact that many of the customers were obviously oriental, tells you that they are doing it right. I would go back in a heartbeat, and that is not usual for me. They also have a DenDen specilizing in fried chicken. I have to go there and report on it.
