Very boring eat. Maybe I'm spoiled because there are so many good Thai restaurants in Vegas but this was almost that dreaded Chung King in a can stuff they sold in the 1970s. Where are all the fresh aromatic herbs? The noodles and meat were fine but the basis for good Thai is the spices and these were lacking. Also the $64 tab for four of us seemed extreme for something from a can.Sorry about the harsh review. Maybe it was a bad night, or maybe Prescott just doesn't know better.

Cash only and over priced for terrible Thai food. 12 bucks for my meal and the veggies it had were only carrots, peppers and onion? I didn't even get meat? It was suppose to come with cilantro etc. And my husbands sweet and sour was more like tomato sauce and rice with pork. The lady was super nice but the food wasn't nice and way over priced for cash only

Upon entering restaurant, the girl at front also our waitress, acted like we were bothering her. Ordered hot tea which took 20 minutes to get to table. Ordered our meals and asked for a spicy scallop hand roll. The waitress says we don't have that, it's not on the menu. Well every sushi restaurant has a hand roll of some type and I had to show her the picture on the menu. 35 minutes later only 2 dinners were brought to table. On questioning where the other 2 meals were, we were twice told " oh they're on there way out" . About 30 minutes later they brought us the check...still no meals for my folks. This was embarrassing to me having brought my folks out. The waitress said she would have the manager, the part owner I believe, over to talk to us. About 10 minutes later the owner comes over and wants to know what was wrong. We had to go through the whole thing again and she was all apologetic stating it would be on the house and wanted to know if they could cook the two meals now. In about 20 minutes we were given a check for $50.00 after they said it was all on the house. We were told it was a computer glitch. Doubt I'll ever go back. Very unorganized, terrible service, and don't be embarrassed by taking any family or friends out for dinner here.

Behind Safeway grocery store on Willow Creek Rd,
The food is average. Not bad, but not excellent. Somewhat pricey. The "specials" average $13 to $15 and not particularly generous servings.Clean well kept facility, Chinese decor. Service was average. We had the Chicken Cashew "special". It was tasty, but again, not great for a meal costing about $35 for two with tip. This restaurant is located behind, and around the corner from Safeway on Willow Creek Rd, next door to UPS store.

Happened to be in the area so we decided to give it a try for Lunch. We ordered Yakisoba and Pho. The Yakisoba could be either rice or noodle. Now that is different. My experience is Yakisoba is only noodle but they offer it as rice????? I ordered that traditional way noodle. It had the same taste as most yakisoba so I was satisfied. The portion was generous. The Pho was very different. It came with no bean sprouts or Thai basil but it did have carrots. That's a twist. The taste was good but I did miss the regular sides.I would go back to try some of the other things since the favors were there, Just different or rather with a twist.

We find that different Japanese restaurants can be very different and this on is no exception. They focus heavily on sushi and no bento box which we are used to ordering. The problem I had is that I am not real familiar with Japanese food and need help. The restaurant was under staffed so the waiter had no time to answer many of my questions. As a result I ended up with a huge pan of soup. I would try them again but not for lunch.

We went for lunch. Not many tables and only two other people were seated. This is a small restaurant and I would guess the bulk of their sales is take out food. The interior is simple and plain: tables, paper placemats and chairs. I ordered beef broccoli and my wife had chicken broccoli, each came with fried rice and egg roll. The food was served hot and tasted good, the egg roll was vegetarian. It was served with sweet and sour sauce which my wife said made the egg roll good. I prefer hot mustard sauce which was not provided but declined to ask for it.The server was pleasant. The amount of food was more than ample and the bill was reasonable.Overall, the restaurant was average, worthy of three stars.

For whatever reason, we hadn't been back to Tara Thai in quite a long time. Today, we we're quite pleased will the food and service. The restaurant was cool and subdued, which was wonderful on such a hot Prescott summer day. Our server was polite and did not rush us. We ordered our food at medium spice and thought it was perfectly balanced with the flavor. All and all a pleasant experience and we will be back sooner than the last time.
