Iâve been coming to sushi town for years because the food is usually always good the prices are decent. But donât except fast and friendly service or a sanitary environment. The Soya Sauce containers are always filthy, the walls have never been washed and they is never a shortage of fruit flies to keep you company when your eating. If your not getting anything hot like gyoza or tempura they pick it up and eat it at home!

We have been going here for years. The good is simply amazing. High quality every time. We have never had a bad meal here yet. We always over order and always have leftovers and nothing ever goes to waste.

This small restaurant has an interesting collection of dishes from all over the place. The serving style is classic Thai, with a fork and a spoon, but there also many Chinese dishes, Sri Lankan and Vietnamese style takes. Everything is fresh and made on the spot and you taste the difference. When comparing some basic dishes like H&S soup, noodles or roti, they all measure up compared to your regular Chinese or Indian places. Nothing too fancy, but always a little pleasure.

Itâs my motherâs favourite dish, so I ordered a lunch special that included black cod. Itâs the best fish I have ever tasted. Light but packed with flavour. Cooked perfectly and paired with stir fried vegetables. Fresh sushi and delicious homemade ginger. Excellent service. Plenty of parking. Clean washrooms. A bit pricy but the quality and experience was worth it!

Great place for takeout or dine in. The crispy roll is delicious with prawns and crab meat. We enjoyed the chicken teriyaki with rice and noodles. The tempura is good as is the sunomono, the miso and the California roll. Service is fast and very friendly. All in all it's a great place to dine in Port Moody.

After some early shopping âhere & thereâ this morning, it was off to Port Moody for another lunch at âLougheed Wontonâ. We (threesome) arrived about 11 am, and were able to find free on-the-street parking within the block outside the restaurant. Everything was good to go, including our appetites!Service started with âHi, nice to see you againâ upon entering the restaurant, very friendly/helpful when ordering, and throughout our stay. Initial service of hot tea came quickly after menus were placed on our table, and the pot was kept hot & full during our meal. Ordered dishes came from kitchen to table in a nice, and timely manner. What was ordered:- from the âdim sum menuâ â prawn dumplings.- from the âChefâs lunch specialsâ â wonton soup, sweet & sour boneless pork, spicy salt & pepper squid, and sauteed green beans w/beef.Decent presentations, and again, some excellent preparations â quality ingredients, nothing âoverly-preparedâ, subtle, but very distinctive flavours, and tastes. And excellent value - well-sized portions, and nicely-priced (specials were $8.95/ea). Once again, âLougheed Wontonâ provided a fine, fun, and very much-enjoyed dining experience.

We really liked the decor and the food tasted great, but everything was wrong with service. They only brought us one of two meals ordered. When we finally asked it was clear, the second one had been left off the order entirely. Couldn't get water refills, never offered a chance to order a second drink, or coffee or dessert or our bill. Was busy when we arrived and all but empty for the night when we left but we all but had to holler for everything as serving staff never cast a glance our way. So bad it became funny - sort of.Dear customer, Thank you for taking time to provide us feedback on you visit. I'm very sorry you had an unplesant experiance. I apologize on behalf of the serving staff. This was a very unusual incident. Customer service is one of our core strengths, as well as our food. Your comment is valuable to us. I will be discussing this incident with our staff to improve and maintain excellent customer service.I hope you will visit us again in the near future as we'd love an opportunity to impress you with food and service.

A family owned and operated. We promote and celebrate the art of Thai taste in Port Moody and Tri-cities.
Impressive first experience. As mentioned by other reviewers the exterior is tired and needs repainting. Decided on takeout option and was impressed. Tofu salad rolls with satay were a good healthy appetiser. Pad Thai tasty and not too sweet. Red curry with shrimp was flavourful and went well with coconut rice. The rice was excellent. Swimming Rama (spinach and beef) rated by the team meat eater as superb. Portion sizes good. Great value for money. Will dine in next time and hope they invest a few $ to make the ambience as good as the cuisine.
