Here for dinner. Ordered the ginger prawn entree which was crispy yum. The chicken saagwala which was ok but have had better elsewhere. The biryani was tasty and plentiful. We took the leftovers home. The waitress was very kind. I would advise against the house white wine though.

This is a popular local snack shop in the town and can be found listed in the Mauritus Lonely Planet guide. Also a page on foursquare here: Please find a photo here
Such a budget friendly little hidden gem! They do take away and their noodles are great but definitely come here for the boulette as that is for sure their speciality. Just off sunset boulevard so very conveniently located and tucked away so the throngs miss it and the wise find it! Enjoy!

Saffron Grill is a fine dining restaurant specialist in Indian cuisine , More than just a meal, we intend to provide an exquisite dining experience
My wife and I visited this amazing restaurant on a Saturday evening and were blown away by the standard of the food. Although I was extremely busy and there was a buffet, which I am usually not a fan of, I loved it all. We have travelled throughout India and enjoy the cuisine. We were almost certainly the only tourists there. We highly recommend this restaurant.

I just want to say, that from the beginning of booking our table, multiple emails from the restaurant (Sorry Akshay) to make sure we will get everything we wanted, through the evening until the end it was super high standard experience . It was a special occasion dinner and it could not go better. Stunning and tasty food, staff so professional, polite & friendly. If you see the restaurant from outside, please don't go....You can't imagine what's going on inside...Wonderful decoration, amazing food and prof.service....The menu is varied and the food is of an excellent quality, I really enjoyed the show around the cooking and serving of the food. The food was fresh and good quality,I recommend the Lobster set menu with egg sauce . But donât hesitate to try everything on the menu. The cooks are very nice and amusing too. This restaurant provides entertainment as well as tasty fresh food. It's great with a group of friends & the staff are amazing. Thanks for an evening of fun enjoyed by us all.Hope to be back soon. In a first instance, I would like to take this opportunity to express to you my sincere gratitude for having chosen Izumi for your dinner. , I would like to thank you for having taken both the time & the trouble of sharing with us your valued feedback.Once again, many thanks for your most positive feedback and we all look forward to, hopefully, welcoming you back. Always at your service! Best Regards Akshay Hurchurn Restaurant Manager

This is a relatively small restaurant located within the main resort building, accessed by walking through the Belle Vue buffet restaurant. We arrived right at opening time and were seated by one of the open windows overlooking the pool. Along with the mellow Asian background music it was a great atmosphere. The staff were all really professional and it felt one of the more âsophisticatedâ restaurants in the resort. Thereâs a proper wine menu which is extensive, but every available bottle is additional to the food packages youâve already purchased. The red bottle was served well and glasses were kept topped up throughout the meal. At 1,990 rupees it was decent value too. Thereâs a nice range of food with about five options in each menu section. Not all of it is included in the different packages and if youâre on half board youâll want to be paying extra to get something nice. Prior to the starters being served we were treated to a single piece of sushi each, served in a small wicker box, which was a nice touch. The dumpling starter was incredible and with five large pieces was a good size; possibly one of the most memorable and enjoyable dishes from our entire stay! The Pad Thai main was also a big portion size and pretty tasty. The cold desert included within the half board package wasnât anything special but it rounded off a filling meal well. As the restaurant began to fill service started to slow but at least it didnât feel like we were being rushed. Overall it was really enjoyable and had we been staying for longer Iâd have loved to have returned.

You will need to look carefully to find this place as it is quite unassuming and I donât think even has the proprietors name over the door! We were told to find a childrenâs playground and then look opposite and we found it.You will have to queue as it is extremely popular especially with locals. The chef stands in the street and cooks your food to order in a minute. Obviously this means it is fresh but it is also very tasty, good size portion and incredibly cheap. You can eat in his restaurant behind him but we took our food across to the beach and sat on a picnic bench bench there. We both had noodles one done with chicken and one with salmon and they were both delicious. Donât forget the chilli sauce on the counter!

In a simple, relaxe and comfortable environment with friendly service to enjoy tasty local home-made foods. Open 7/7 days from 11h to 23h.
We didn't like the food here as much as some previous reviewers, but we did like this modest restaurant. The owner and chef is friendly and sweet, and a good cook. Her menu is limited, mostly Chinese-inspired rice and noodle dishes (try the upside down bowl with noodles). Tasty and cheap, but I would have happily paid more for a little more meat. If you go with modest expectations, you'll enjoy your meal here.

Food is excellent. We ordered Korean Chicken Wings and Pork Dimsums for the starters. For the main course we ordered Wok Fried Chicken and Chicken Fried Rice(Kindly note they provide a bowl of rice with every main course item, which is cooked perfectly)For dessert we ordered icecream tempura and seasonal fruit platter. All the dishes were excellent, except the chicken in the wok fried chicken was over fried and hard.

The food here is really good and the chef cooks to your specification. If you like your food more spicy, he is there to oblige. All the food was well cooked. Piping hot and very tasty. The staff are also very helpful, polite and accommodating.
