No matter what your pallet or diet demands - meat-eating, vegan or paleo, you will find satisfaction and delight with our quality style cooking. Our marinades and sauces are all house made with fresh ingredients. Our chefs take several hours to prepare an
We came here on the first night of the Olympics. The restaurant was almost completely full, with people waiting. Nice decor, was recently renovated. They bring our a lot of samplers, like 6 dishes, that are just for you to try. They are included in the meal, and let you try a few of the Korean foods without ordering them on the menu, like Kimchi, seaweed salad, etc. The appetizers were Great - Chicken Wing lollipops. They had a sweet and sour sauce on them that was excellent. The dumplings were fantastic also. The egg souffle was a disappointment, though. It was just a fluffy scrambled egg. The Bokkeumbap with chicken was also great. Definitely the best dinner of the night. The eel was good, but it was just eel and rice, nothing special. They were out of the cheesy corn. Must have been very popular. It was our first time trying Korean, so we didn't try the BBQ. Definitely next time., Everyone around us ordered the BBQ, and loved it (I checked). To my followers:Be adventurous. Everything is good.Make a reservation, just in case.Ask for a larger table, especially if you order the BBQ.It can be loud, just so you know ahead of time.We thank you for your detailed review as they really help not only other future guests but us as well. We are sorry about the egg souffle - it is true that it is a very simple recipe but amongst Korean people it is loved just like scrambled eggs here :-DWe look forward to serving you again and hopefully you can try some more of our wonderful dishes, especially the barbecue - it's our thing! ~Keo Ku Family~

I was taken to this restaurant it has expertise in South Indian food. The vegetarian dishes and South Indian specialities are excellent. The service was attentive and friendly. I did not order my Indian colleague did. The place was largely Indian occupied, a great recommendation.

When the weather gets cold, we come here for lunch. I really enjoy the idea of personalized hot pot as you can get whatever you want, cook it however you want, and just enjoy it, without having to worry about the fact that person A does not do pork and person B does not like spicy food. The lunch really is a good deal. For $11 you get a full plate of veggies, a plate of meat (choose from fatty beef, fatty lamb, chicken, premium beef), and a type of noodle (glass noddle, rice noodle, instant noodle, udon). And it costs only around $12 with all you can eat ice cream. I am 5'8'', 165# height-weight proportional male and I struggled a little to finish my food. I will continue to come back.

Family weekend get-together meal! First time here. The large pho is gigantic; the bowl is incredibly huge! I ordered a small one and I had a hard time finishing it. My kids always order the Vietnamese pork chops - comes with a side of white rice. The spring rolls (both fried & not fried) were all delicious. Vietnamese coffee is awesome if you haven't tried one. The deserts are delicious if you still have room .... Great location in a strip/shopping mall. Tons of parking. We'll be back for more!

We have been going to Hwang Bu Ja Restaurant for years and it had never disappoint us. My husband and I enjoyed their BBQ Korean Ribs and the Beef and Seafood Tufo Casserole. At times, we'll also order the Seafood Scallion Pancake. Owners are hard working and attentive.By the way, the restaurant started out as Japanese / Korean but the Japanese part never took off.
Visited this place the second time ( first time, they were closing so did not entertain us), even at this time, they were closing but agreed to take our order. We were in a rush so we ordered what they are famous for. Their specialty Korean drum stick and wings. They have enough option to choose combo between Drumsticks/Wings or Strip and that too in all sizes. So itâs for everyone. We took Combo (Small size- 6 wings + 3 Drum). It was enough for both of us so did not order anything else. We choose Spicy and soy garlic sauce. The spicy sauce is really spicy, so chose carefully. The soy garlic sauce was good. Chicken pieces were tender, very soft and juicy and crunchy. It was delicious. The ambiance was soothing and clean. You have to give order at the counter and server ll place your order on the table. ( I really donât like this system, either everything at counter or table).Prices wise, itâs really good. $12 for 9 pieces of chicken. Much cheaper than KFC or Popeyeâs chicken but more taste. I will come back to try their other dish for sure.

They are relatively new, just tried them today, near a bunch of hotels, and very tasty!
Extremely crowded on weekend lunch hours. Hard to find parking. Standing room wait for dimsum lunch. Suggestion: either get there earlier or after the busy rush. After 1pm, it was less chaotic, more relaxed/less stress environment and more enjoyable to eat lunch. Make reservations for big groups. They give you a paper ticket with your queue number. In the past, it seemed like they gave you preferential treatment (seated you first & cut in line) if you were Chinese - I'm glad they give you a paper ticket with number now.Overall the food is superb! Their fried chicken is delicious (dip it in soy sauce with lemon)! Their duck is good too as long as its still hot. I'm a dimsum fan but some of my favorite items (i.e. crab claw, dofu, baked pork buns) were not available during our visit. The dumplings are always a hit. The service is swift and attentive; you don't have just 1 particular server. I think we had 8 servers checked up on us. The dimsum carts stopped by our table every 3 to 5 minutes. If you don't see what you want in the cart, they will bring it to you straight from the kitchen. We also ordered from the regular menu. I love that they keep refilling my hot tea pot! You definitely will leave here stuffed.

Whenever we crave Indian sweets, we crave Sukhadia's. Think of any sweet, they have it and they taste just like the best in India. They also serve chaat and other appetizers like samosa which are good too. I would recommend this place if you want to get Indian sweets or taste a spicy tangy chaat.

Our fried quail dish was way overdone, even pork rice was below average... too much of MSG makes the meat taste too artificial. Either your local chinese takeaway makes better prok fried rice or I don't understand Vietnamese cuisine. The staff took their while even to take our order. Would not go back.

You can watch long noodles being rolled out by hand. Kids seemed to get a big kick out of this and even get a piece of dough to try it too.Noodles in big bowls of rich beef and chicken soup, saute'd noodles, beef, chicken, pork, lamb, duck and vegetarian. Entrees are generous, appetizers are tasty and soup bowls are huge, think a big bowl of Pho. You get a pair of scissors to cut your noodles! If you like your chicken, beef, duck without any skin or fat, this place is not for you. The skin, fat, bones and muscles all add to depth and richness of the stocks, soups and sauces. Shan Shan is not an Americanized Chinese restaurant. Our friends enjoyed it, my wife won't go back and I would be more cautious if I did.
