My husband and I took the kids to try Panda Express. The building looked nice from the outside, not like your typical fast food restaurant, and the advertised honey sesame chicken looked very tasty. On entering, I took the kids to the bathroom before ordering. It was dirty!! There was a spot of bm on the floor, No diaper changer, garbage overflowing, not a good first impression. As I walked the kids to the counter to order, the floor by the drink machine was nothing but sticky splatters and I noticed ztwo containers in the middle of the room due to a leaky roof. The tables and rest of the restaurant "seemed" to be clean. We went to order and there wasn't a big selection or much of it I should say, kind of slim. We got three of the pick two entrees and one side plates so we could all try a sample of different things. We tried the: broccoli beef- beef was tough but it was ok; black pepper chicken- was just ok; honey sesame chicken- flavor was good but it was huge pieces of pale color battered chicken, no peppers or green beans, looked nothing like what was advertised; string bean chicken- not very tasty at all; sweet n sour chicken- was pretty tasty; and orange chicken- pretty tasty as well and we had fried rice which was very dry. The orange chicken was our favorite out of them all. We would've like to try the angus steak but it was a premium choice and more expensive. Overall, it was pretty much "fast food Chinese"- we enjoy fresher and more flavorful food at our local Chinese restaurant. The kids weren't impressed by any of it, ate a couple of bites of orange chicken and then refused to eat anymore. It was quite expensive also- cost us around $30 for 3 of the pick two plates and 4 drinks, not worth it! So, I hate to say it, but our first trip to Panda Express will probably be our last!
IP is the only really good Chinese restaurant left in Slidell. There is no comparison between IP andand the others. They use fresh veggies and the meat is high quality. Chef Adrian is fantastic. He serves up huge portions and will even visit your table to check on your dining experience. Our go to Chinese restaurant!

Got take out on 1/26 and had a couple of cocktails while waiting. Great Mai Tais and cold beer in frosted mugs. Once home, food was fantastic with big portions. Mandarian chicken, walnut shrimp and fried rice cannot be beat. Chili spice wings are a hit. Friendly Staff. Will be back soon.

Thai Dishes That Are Delicious! "Good Karma Food"
We had lunch in this restaurant. The place is quite small but the owner was very friendly. We had the Pad Pric and the Pad Kra Prow both with chicken. They were enjoyable. The access is a bit tight for a wheelchair as the door opens outward onto the path but it is manageable. We fixed the door issue. Our apologies and thank you for pointing it out!

We stopped her mid afternoon on the way back from New Orleans, and even though it was 3 on a Monday, they had fresh food out. Sushi was pretty good, even if limited. Price wasn't bad either. Family of 4 under fifty bucks!

After checking out a typical restaurant with its heavily fried and cheese-laden options, I stumbled on this unassuming restaurant, and I arrived before the hoards of locals began to come in, so it's clearly a local favorite. Yes, the spring rolls were very tasty, refreshing with their interior filled with light greens--I had the shrimp rolls (hoping the shrimp were all local and not frozen, imported from Thailand). Vietnamese are so attuned to using only fresh ingredients, it's always a pleasure to eat at their restaurants. The peanut sauce was mildly spicy, and the pho had a wonderful beef aroma. Since I can rarely eat the whole amount of a meal, I took the remnants as takeout and had a nice breakfast the following day. My waiter didn't speak much English, but made up for it with a smile, and his manager made sure everything was as ordered. If you're on the way to the Eco Swamp tour, this is along the way, and the best option in my opinion.
Where to eat Mexican food in Pearl River: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Decided not to cook and chose Lucky Panda on a whim. The counter person is very friendly and polite. The restaurant is neat and clean, however some overstock is kept in public area. Now as for the food, I've had much better but the food isn't bad, just ordinary. Pu Pu Platter was underwhelming, Egg Phu Young was a bit over cooked. Egg Drop Soup was a hit. This location has only been here three months so I won't write it off just yet.
The restaurant is clean and the sushi is fresh and tasty. The staff was very friendly and we got in and out quickly. My wife and I even went back for a second time during our weekly stay. I think they are pretty new and are still waiting for their liquor license.

We returned to Thai Orchid after a trip to Thailand. The flavors are authentic and the food is delicious. We enjoyed the Green Curry with Chicken and Panang Curry. The service was wonderful. Thai Orchid has what makes a restaurant successful, consistently fresh, delicious food and good service with reasonable prices.

I've always heard good things about the Pho House but just couldn't get myself excited about "noodles". Well as they say, don't judge a book by its cover! Pho House does not disappoint when it comes to clean crisp flavors. Each offering is well prepared and portion sizes won't leave you hungry, but you might want more. The menu is limited but what they offer hits the mark. And yes, they serve more than just "Noodles".
