I went to Pahalgam with a group of friends. Out of them a few were pure vegetarians and also had a problem to eat in a restaurant which serves non veg food. This place was a saviour to them as it serves only pure veg food.

On a recent trip to Pahalgam, our driver and guide asked us to trust his choice and took us to Heena Restaurant and to our pleasant surprise, the food there truly delighted us. Tender and succulent pieces of mutton simmered in a delightful Roganjosh gravy truly took the edge off the headache and the tiredness that had crept in for a day full of tiring travel and adventures.

It's a multi-cuisine, veg, self-service restaurant; probably the best and the nearest in Pahalgam. It remains very crowded almost always. Prices are reasonable. Taste and food quality is good. Quantity is more than enough. If you are four people, order for three!

In comperision to others restaurant such as Dana Pani, Nathu Rasoi etc, Volga restaurant is costly and not at par to others.If you reside near Volga, go Dana Pani and if reside in main market, go Nathus Rasoi.

Good Food at reasonable prices specially with most joints around selling at high prices .Location on the main street just near the entrance of the Pahalgam Hotel .We tried different times from South Indian , to Kashmiri and North Indian food and they did not disappoint .Highly recommended .
