One could easily drive or walk right by it and not see it. That would be a mistake. Fresh, reasonably priced, unique items. Look, don't complicate it, just go.

Everything from the appetizers to the desserts is absolutely delicious. The fact that his vegetarian allows the excellence of this small, intimate and very friendly Indian restaurant to really shine forth. Definitely try the Colcassia leaf appetizer. It is one of the best dishes of Indian cuisine I have ever experienced!

Thai/Vietnamese food in a colonial era home with an attached gelato stand??? You bet...that's how we rock in Old Saybrook!!! Come on inside, where your eyes will feast on a potpourri of ceramic dragons, Asian watercolors and papier mache lanterns. But that's not all you'll feast on. The menu is vast and loaded with delights to please all pallets. Start with some hot and sour or coconut soup, loaded with cauliflower and spiced nicely. Then work your way toward some Vietnamese spring rolls, beautifully stuffed and fried to perfection. And don't miss the fried dumplings....they're actually deep fried and are absolutely delicious. Then on to the main course. Wonderful pad thai, great basil beef and seafood stir fry. All cooked and presented beautifully....and to your specified spiciness. Staff is delightful too. So if you want a break from fried shrimp and clam fritters after a long day at the beach, come here for a nice meal.

We have gone by this place many times over the years as we went to the railroad station or to Pizza Works. After picking up my son at the station we finally decided to try this place. All I can say is I'm sorry. I'm sorry we didn't try this place many years ago. We love Chinese food and this was excellent. I have the fried shrimp. Six or seven large shrimp, lightly battered with rice. My wife had the shrimp and broccoli and my son had the sushi. All were delicious. Service was great and prices reasonable. Our first of many future stops.
