This is the authentic Japanese restaurant - the food and saké are excellent (you have to book even on weekdays) The staff are discreet and service very efficient. What better way for tourists to start a visit of the pretty old town of Bienne where the restaurant is located or for the locals to come and have a real taste of the land of the rising sun! Kampai!

Went there over lunch with my brother, there is not too much choice on the menu, but the food is great and the prices are fair. We had a soup, a salad, a main dish with a homemade iced tea for CHF 20.-/person. I will definitely go back

Had 2 meals here during 8 day trip to watch WTA tour tennis tournament. An intimate L-shaped restaurant (a mix of Swiss cottage interior with Thai decorations) with approximately 16 tables. Wide ranging menu with meat, poultry, fish & vegetarian options. I had duck in oyster sauce on 1st visit & fish in a spicy sauce on 2nd. Both were excellent & reasonably priced at 27 SFR including rice. Had a yummy coconut ice-cream for dessert on both visits. Good range of wine, beer (both Swiss & imported) and soft drinks. Staff were extremely friendly & attentive.
