I'm sure it's called the rainbow now. Been to this restaurant a handful of time when visiting the lodges nearby food has always been great however this time we visited and were in pretty early about 5ish we ordered 2 starters and we shared a main the starters came my spare ribs the salad underneath has brown bits which in my opinion should have been cut off, my partner got the chicken noodle soup which to his horror at the end when drinking all the excess juice I seen his face change the pulled out a metal bit of the sourer that they clean the pots with told the waitress and she said sorry but al we got offered was we'll not charge you for the chicken soup I should bloody hope not! Not even offered anything of the bill or a drink. Won't be visiting again when in Newton Stewart.

Turned up at Meena's on a Monday evening, possibly around 9.30am. Everywhere else in town had closed doors for dining at this time. Not Meena's. Had delicious food and as the restauarnt did not servce alcohol, we were allowed to go out to the local shop to buy a bottle of wine. This was uncorked for free. Meena's should charge a small fee for this really.. The waiter was very patient with us while we ordered and polite throughout. A little gem of a place!

Just had my starter. Large spring roll. Best ever. And freshly made. One night was a disaster!! They didnât have the ingredients to make the rolls... Proof that everything here is made to order. People complaining that it takes too long to get a takeaway???. Maybe that should tell you something??? I would much rather wait for an hour, than have everything in ten minutes. Mandy is lovely. Her mum works way too hard. The best Chinese takeaway in the uk. Even though Mandy and her brothers are Manchester fans!! Yeh both united and city lol. Trying to watch my weight,, but it isnât easy with Dynasty just doon the road

Treated like family. Shiva is great front of house. Had the mixed tikka starter, totally amazing. Lamb tikka Jalandari , at vindaloo strength for main course. Indian vegetable curry on the side. Huge servings. More than enough for a second day doggy bag. Still easily the best curry house in the world. Give this place a go.
