Things to do in New Paltz
We spend our summer in New Paltz & were told to go here.So we went with friends. You walk up to the counter to order & wait at a table for your number to be called. We had Pad Thai with chicken which was good.I had the Korean short ribs. The taste was good but the meat was tough, fatty, & chewy.Prices are ok.Hard to comment on service because of the way you order & pick up.

This is a good choice for Thai food in New Paltz. Strangely, it is just next to another Thai place. That's a lot of Thai for a small upstate college town! The food is excellent, the prices good too. I particularly like the laid back feel and the fact that the restaurant is not overcroweded with tables. Attentive staff too.

we are vegan and went here for lunch since the Malaysian Curry dish was very highly recommended.the flavors didn't disappoint, but our tummies were thrown off balance for the rest of the day.........mayeb it was not really vegan?Plus, the waitress seemed new and really uninformed.

We spend our summers in New Paltz. Each year we try to eat at a variety of restaurants. We came back this summer with 2 friends. We all enjoyed our food. We shared shrimp egg rolls first. Good.I had Pad See Awe with pork. Very good. Service was good. Prices are ok.

This restaurant is always our first stop in New Paltz because the food is so good! We each got our favorite appetizer, calamari, a huge serving of the most tender, crunchy, scored pieces encased in a nongreasy crunchy coating with a dipping sauce. I could make a meal of this alone! But there are other dishes just as good even thought we can't have them all on each visit. We've had the excellent house salad, large enough to split. The hot and sour soup with the seafood is filled with different seafood and is well worth the price of about $6. Again, it could be a meal. Ant entrée that we've tried has been excellent, freshly prepared to your tastes. CIA spicy chicken was a special on our last trip so I asked if it was possible to have that made for us. Yes! Our only mistake was that we ordered 2 entrees where 1 would have served both of us but no problem, we just took it home with us. Beer is icy cold. Service is fast and pleasant. Park on the street or possible out behind the restaurant. This is authentic Thai cooking from people who want to make sure that your dining experience is pleasing to your stomach as well as your wallet. Try it and you won't be disappointed as you relax and await a fine meal.

I had the Nabeyaki soup with Udon noodles. It was very good. Much too much food for one person, but made for great leftovers. The atmosphere is very traditional, and perfect for enjoying the food. I hope to get a chance to return and try the sushi.
